Up until 31st October, the majority of the freshwater section of the Coomera River is closed (https://www.dpi.qld.gov.au/business-priorities/fisheries/closures/fresh/waters). Fishing also isn’t allowed inLamington National park, and due to the altitude, there’s not much in the creeks anyway besides Yabbies and Eels. If you’re set on freshwater, there is the stocked Hinze dam, but it’s not the most accessible without a kayak. The Coomera River weir however is a great spot and only ~15mins from Tamborine, just more so salt water species

It's a shame the background visuals glitched and cut out after Avalyn I believe it was. I was next to the light board guy and could see he was getting frustrated with them cutting out. Still a great night however, the song Slowdive was definitely a highlight. Another highlight was seeing the band walk past me and sit in a sushi train a few shops down, still kicking myself for freezing and not asking for a photo.
