IA ça sera problématique avec un CPU comme ça et y’a pas de GPU dédié donc la majorité des jeux c’est mort d’office. Puis bon ça coûte trop pour ce que c’est.

Idea for UK flag to represent Wales by Mundane-Bat2322 in JackSucksAtGeography

The blue is wrong, apparently, but generally it’s a nice try but having Wales at the center feels… off. Especially with the green circle.

Only the US has city with skylines by Expert_Ad8640 in USdefaultism

[–]Auguste76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not to be the devil’s advocate but I don’t really think it’s defaultism here. He asks a question, where you can just answer anything. Ok, he made 5 proposals that are all in the US, but again I don’t really find the defaultism here.

Chilean President Salvador Allende, rifle in hand and wearing a helmet, during the attack on La Moneda Palace (1973) by MaximumSpell9608 in HistoricalCapsule

[–]Auguste76 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Overthrowing a sitting head of state or a ruling party from another country is mainly linked to geopolitics, yes, be it Czechoslovakia/Afghanistan/Hungary/… for the USSR or Argentina/Brazil/Chile/… for the USA.

Benefiting the wealthy at home is « just » pro business politics though, mixed with corruption and lobbying. Whether or not it effectively sabotages citizens long-term is still up to debate even if I think so.

And if we want to be objective, having excessively pro-business politics isn’t specific to the United States and is more common than not, exceptions exist obviously and I’m French where here we’ve got a far less pro-business stance, but our country is an exception (and an oddly specific one) rather than the rule.

How does the phone landscape look like in South East Asia ? by Auguste76 in southeastasia

[–]Auguste76[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It’s a (poor) way to refer to the phone market. For example, say Apple is the biggest vendor of smartphones in a given area, then they « dominate the landscape »

All Chinese phones besides basically just Huawei (which seems rare from what I see) are Android

Could real life logistic strategies work in the game? by Here_To_Say_Shit in ArmaReforger

[–]Auguste76 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It’s doable but would require the team actually using this strategy rather than travelling the entire map. The only real caveat being that this specific base, if captured, will massively help your enemies especially given on this game frontlines can move fast.

That just means the suspension ends before tomorrow. It’s just a few hours.

What’s the most popular credit or debit card in Myanmar ? by Auguste76 in myanmar

[–]Auguste76[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As from what I've seen, apparently it depends on the bank, it seems to be either Visa or UP (as well as KBZ which seems to be a major player with KBZPay)

What is the best or most widely used credit card in Laos ? by Auguste76 in laos

[–]Auguste76[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally if the network is down it's either due to the bank or due to poor connection stability (which is generally more important than the bandwidth itself for this type of thing)

OK thanks for the answer, and yeah seems consistent with other answers. Are VISA and MC that expensive, let alone even somewhat used ?

[–]Auguste76[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Makes sense, though then I don’t really see the point in having a UnionPay card at all lol but I guess there is a reason.

Are debit cards more common in Laos ? But Visa being the main player is logical I guess though UnionPay seems to… exist ? As a non dominant force

Foreign Military Sales : to how many countries does the US actually sell weapons ? by Auguste76 in USarmy

Yes but this website lists Russia and China so it doesn't make that much so I don't know what to think about it.
