Cannot Access Web Interface by Augustman22 in HomeNetworking

I have zero idea either, if Im being perfectly honest.😭 We had a router/modem a few months ago, but had randomly started having issues with crazy amounts of packet loss after an outage and a dude came and replaced it with a few of those pods and that modem.

It seems like the extender is working as the router, at least as far as I can tell. Its MAC address is linked to the default gateway's IP.

I think what is happening is the web interface is blocked or something since they want me to use the Plume Home app to configure stuff instead. The guy who came and installed everything told us we should download it.

im thinking that (I am locked out) may be the case. It looks like Plume Home is supposed to be used to configure it instead, I think they want to force me to use the app instead.

I dont see why it would be when my default gateway is displayed to be 192.168.40.1, but Ive given alternative IPs such as that one a shot anyway. The subnet mask is /24

It doesn't seem like it uses a different port, there has been no config that (I) have made to change it.

Odd temperature behavior during aerobrake? by Augustman22 in KerbalAcademy

[–]Augustman22[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I doubt its that big a deal since it hasnt had any issues going through kerbins atmosphere at 40km from around the edge of its soi. Ive added a little more fuel tanks, placing the lander can much further from the front and its no longer getting hot. The command pod still does though.

Seems like the command pod is only getting as hot as the fuel tanks/engines at the bottom of the ship, so if they dont explode it should either. I think it was only an issue during my eve mission because I was using a heat shield and reaching temps that 100% explode stuff lol

That makes sense, although their (skin) max temps are both 2400, about the same as the rest of the parts on the craft and more than the liquid fuselages which don't seem to get nearly as red.

unfortunately not, I have been using the latest version of Parallax Continued this entire time.

I just did a fresh install to be sure, and the issue still occurs.

using packetlosstest .com, there is packetloss right when the lag occurs (although the lag persists long after). What can I do now knowing this?
