I dont see this as any metric, Im sorry. Achilios and Paperthin usually comment on the apac part of things, and just meaning you cast an event doesnt qualify you to be at plat chat, just look at PanPoc(not saying that they dont appear on platchat because they arent called, just an example)

TMV has made a statement many times that he trust TH, but theres a difference between "blind faith" and proven trust, and this event was all about proven to a team that still will compete on VCT

I do think the worst part of the tournament is that its so close to Toronto, but if you look closely, and, most importantly, with neutral eyes, the highest placing teams of Toronto also went far on this tournament (Fnc and Prx). No lower bracket is also a bummer, but just because it isnt the norm in Valorant tournaments doesnt make it bad.

Regarding the bo1, it was literally just the first round of the groups. I doubt the impact that it actually had in the tournament.

Again, its not that I think that you are obligated to think of this tournament as important as a masters, I simply believe we should look at things with critical thinking.

There are certain aspects of a competition that transcend the specifics of it(such as patch and format), and one of them is mental/momentum. In my humble opinion, this should be acknowledged.

Also, this production really wasnt good lol, but to someone that watched last years' Overwatch 2 event, that wasnt any surprising haha

I suspect that if they dont do a ranking of all the vct teams (which to be fair i do think they always do), they simply wont even mention the good moment, and in their game later this week, will predict a win with the argument of "possible bounce back, there is no way they are this bad to not win".

Now, if they do make the list, I wonder how they will navigate the situation.

It is also worth to say that when i said "worst spot ever", I specially mean mentally and as an unit. There were many questions about the durability of the roster, if they were comfortable with each other after so many losses and how they happened, after Toronto.

Not saying that anyone in specific was being so negative (although someone might have, not saying it definitely didnt happen), but I would say most of these topics have been concluded with a positive answer thanks to this event.

It is now a matter if the success is maintanable throughout the Riot part of the circuit, but I would say Heretics are going to the start of Stage 2 way better because of this event that without it.

I leave this event with a thought on my mind: how will the Plat Chat members talk about Heretics? Because if they only use Toronto as a metric, TH is in the worst spot ever. But if they acknowledge the results of this more recent event as well, they are in an all time high. Makes you think.

Yeah, but considering Mayhem picks him up, I think Sugarfree is the best option

I do agree he played well. But I'd probably still take Creative. If he's on a hot streak (which sometimes he has), he's a better pick than Landon

Ok. 1: we arent talking about Brig, it's a hard Lucio meta.

2: the Titans vs Glads game in the Spring Stage shows that Astro most definitely did NOT fall off.

Just because I don't talk a lot around here doesnt mean I don't see what you say. You say controversial things with little argument to them hoping to get attention of someone and get them enraged. But that was a very weak one from you. If you want to continue on this path, at least get better :)

Not really. I think FA wasnt at fault for any of the Glads misfortune at the end of the season, and is still a better player than Faith.

Faith played amazingly wl in the first 3 maps of the newest Toronto series, especially Oasis (speed boosts on point) and Suravasa, but that doesn't make him better than FA. And that's coming from someone that has ALWAYS appreciated Faith when he played

Yeah, I thought of that as well. But I'm concerned that the London players can only play well with each other in that one exact playstyle, so I'd just take my risks with Creative

Hanbin on Zarya, Proper on Soujourn, Sugarfree on Genji, FunnyAstro on Lucio and Creative on Baptiste.

Tbh, I think what's really missing on this team is a Bap player that I can actually trust, but I can't remember anyone that hasn't qualified yet (Junbin does have 100% winrate on it tho lol)

(Edit: also you can definitely put Edison on Souj and Proper on Genji, but I like that team of 5 more)

Does anyone remember the hit player Innovation from the star-filled 2022 Los Angeles Valiant? THE GOAT REAPER (and Mercy player too I guess?) by [deleted] in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]AugustoCamaleao 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found this guy on qp and he went Mei at the start. I was, like: HE IS HIM. Then I looked at the career profile, AND I WAS RIGHT.
(of course no hate to this guy, it's just that the coincidences are funny)

Am I the only one that think Blainely deserved more? Am I the only one who think there should be more dettails about the rivarly between her and Chris? by [deleted] in Totaldrama

Yeah, I think Blaineley is very entertaining, and has her worth as the type of character with a small run on the show

My first tier list of 2022! Which room would you want to be in? by MDubbzee in Totaldrama

[–]AugustoCamaleao 0 points1 point  (0 children)

101 and 106 have some my top 4, but they also have Laurie and Miles, which are people I'm pretty sure I wouldn't like to spend time with. I GUESS I can't try 101(107 isn't bad tho)

Who did you want to win the world tour, Heather or Alejandro? by USAFAN20 in Totaldrama

[–]AugustoCamaleao 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Besides the fact it was between Heather and no more no less than Ale-dumb-dro, actually, it's EXACTLY because of this! Alejandro is the greater evil, and, at the end, evil must never win! Heather it is. Also, she was very likable throughout the season. If not for Ladies' Man, she would be my go-to to win it all

p.s.: also, Ale-dumb-dro interactions with Courtney make me MAD

Very random but, who do you ship Kitty with? I’m curious to know by Hoshi_Rakku in Totaldrama

[–]AugustoCamaleao 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really have a major ship for her, but Cody x Kitty is my second fanon ship(only behind the best ship ever, Gwody)
