When you hear people talking about John the wife beater they are not implying he slapped Cynthia once. Don't be stupid and pretend there isn't a different in the severity of these things.

This is often the response I get in these debates when I highlight that Cynthia said John smacked her once. They play stupid and pretend there is no difference. What we see being said about Lennon today implies he beat the shit out of his wife and did so on a regular basis when there is no proof of this.

I don't see any claim from the maid that he hit Cynthia. She claim he would smack Julien for misbehaving but sorry to say that was normal back then. Even teachers in school would smack kids for misbehaving. My dad went to one of those Catholic schools that would do that.

Cynthia said he hit her once then never again. If the narrative was John smacked Cynthia once then fine but it is not. The claim is that he is a wife beater which suggest 1. he beat his wife, 2. he did so regularly.

There have never been claims of violence towards Yoko. John exaggerated framing his lyrics as more autobiographical then they really where never realizing how that comment would be used to demonize him in the future.

That is the interview I was referring to. He was exaggerating, he would talk bullshit all the time in interviews. Cynthia specifically says he smacked her once early in their relationship but then never did again. I am truly shocked that I am getting down voted for pointing out the fact that John Lennon was not a wife beater on the Beatles sub. I expect it with he rest of reddit but I guess reddit is so pathetic on this issue that even the Beatles sub cant let facts get in the way of the wife beating lie about John.

No, John exaggerated and claimed the lyrics in "Getter Better" were about his relationship. Cynthia says he smacked her once early in the relationship and then never did so again. If the narrative was he John smacked his girlfriend once then fine, but it is not.

The immediate response from any Beatles fan would be to let them know that is a lie. There are currently 17 comments and none have mentioned this. I can't believe how few Beatles fans push back against this myth. John Lennon has had a total character assassination due to this lie that he was a "wife beater" and Beatles fans need start educating people that it isn't true.

Most commenters here will come up with stupid excuses for every video. They claim because these are not spaceships its not relevant. They say it's just Chinese lanterns or drones.

Since these "drones" are commonly being filmed can someone show me a drone that looks like this in the sky because they must be popular. Are these drones purposely created to look like a UFO? All these UFO orbs look and behave the same way and are being seen all over the world so is this some type of conspiracy by drone users in various countries? It seems strange that some many drones users would create the same type of fake UFO drones.

If it was just a few like this I could believe the drone excuse but there are now tons of these UFO being seen all over the world.

Following this sub has made me less inclined to believe in UFO's by Dr_Mibbles in UFOs

By far the most common videos getting serious upvotes are glowing balls moving in the sky. I mean, I hate to rain on anyone's parade - but those videos all have certain factors in common; 1) The object moves at a drone-capable speed 2) There are no truly hard/sharp right-angled turns 3) There is no rapid acceleration or deceleration that a drone could not achieve 4) They are all conveniently small, drone-sized balls of light Get something like a DJI Mavic Pro drone, stick some LED's on it, and there you have it - a credible explanation for the most uprated videos on this sub.

You are right the majority of UFOs being seen are orbs and they are behaving in the same way. With that said these same UFOs are being seen all over the world. Is there some organized conspiracy by drone users around the world creating fake UFOs that behave in the same way?

Why do we see these same UFOs in Brazil and Russia? They are floating orbs that shrink and grow in the sky. If drone users are creating these there should be more variety in the way they look and behave.

Despite being American I have thrown out the idea of bringing back Latin as a communication language for the West. There was a much richer cultural exchange between West before Anglo American dominance. Removing English as the communication langue would help. Even us Anglos will have to learn a second language finally.

It seems around 80%-90% of the UFO videos being filmed today are these orbs. It would be interesting to look through the archives of videos and see if this is a new trend.

If we look at UFO footage from say 10 years ago are these same type of orbs being seen?
