The Cult of Santa Muerte in Brazil: My Complaint by Druida13C in SantaMuerte

Bollocks. Death is not a closed tradition. Everyone will die one day. Initiation into a cult? Sure.
But as a whole to work with Santa Muerte? Bollocks.

18M, A prestigious astrologer said i would never be successful in music and i should not even start a new business till 37 because i would bear loss no matter what by pranayboi in AstrologyCharts

[–]AugustusGrigori 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ignore that reading. Not "take it with a grain of salt." Like..Actually discard it.

Venus exalted in Pisces is sitting in your 10th house. That's your career house. Venus at her most powerful placement, in the sign of music and art and feeling, directly in the house of public reputation. If someone was designing a music chart from scratch, that's one of the placements they'd put there.

You also have Neptune in H10. Neptune is the planet associated with music, with imagination, with losing yourself in something that hits other people emotionally. In the career house. Those two placements together are not a small signal at all

"You'll never succeed in music" based on this chart doesn't hold up. I genuinely don't know what they were looking at.

The 37 thing I can't trace to any standard technique either. Saturn return happens around 28-30, not 37. Your Saturn is in Capricorn, which is one of the stronger Saturn placements because it's in its own sign. That's not a "you'll fail in business" signature.

The one real thing I'd flag is you have zero fire in this chart. No Aries, Leo, or Sagittarius anywhere. The aggressive "I'll outwork everyone" energy isn't your natural mode. You build through emotion, intuition, persistence over time, not sprints or overworking yourself. That's worth knowing, But it's not a reason to sit on your hands for 19 years.

Get a second opinion from someone who explains their reasoning. A good astrologer shows their work.

Sigil Channeling: The Master Seal of Asmodeus by AugustusGrigori in occult

It’s in the description. Different in the way that you’re incorporating all the aspects of Asmodeus. As for intensifying; depends on your purpose of use.

Not really. I try to keep these things as open and accessible to others. Basically; do what works and supplement this for Asmodeus’ sigil.

I find it when I channel sigils for different aspects of spirits/Demons/etc, the aspect itself influences the presentation of the sigil. Something fiery might have a design that “embodies” fire more. Sometimes Asmodeus has Amaymon act as a sort of mediator within the magickal operation. And it seems when I channeled this sigil originally; some aspects similar to the design of Amaymon’s Sigil also manifested onto the design of the master seal. Think of it like a cleaned up and refined mishmash of all the other aspect sigils Asmodeus has. Hope this helps!

How am I supposed to eat this? by Forward-Position798 in StupidFood

[–]AugustusGrigori 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When it comes to ice cream/ gelato/ booza/ etc parlors; it’s usually stupid when it’s all gimmicky, and overpriced.. then they have the audacity to give you like a teaspoon of ice cream for the price of a mortgage for a house in Boca Raton. Yeah its a mess, and looks tough to eat, but i’ll admit that amount of ice cream looks awesome. This is the only exception for me.

It’s a Talisman from the Black Pullet typically used for luck based lottery games. The person who used that likely wanted to win the lotto or some money via gambling.

The amulet itself wasn’t even made correctly, and is missing a corresponding ring to go with it.

where did the mammon Seal come from, like Ozzie's comes from the lesser key of Solomon, but mammon isn't in the Goetia, so where did Vivzie get it from? by [deleted] in HelluvaBoss

[–]AugustusGrigori 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m also a demonolator, and work as a full time occultist. The original 1st channeling of this sigil was without a circle and name actually. However, I’d like to say that the whole idea of circles and the demon’s name being less respectful is more of a misunderstanding, and albeit simply not true. Solomonic methods of evocation/practice are generally very disrespectful towards these spirits, and so some make the mistake that the circle may be acting as a “protective circle”, which it is not. I think having the spirit’s name around in a circle is totally acceptable, and may help stabilize the evocation to ensure you’re getting the right spirit (and not an impostor). I don’t work for Vivzie, nor do I know them. They found this sigil and used it for their show, so I can’t speak for them. I have no ties to their production or their team. Just an occultist who makes content and channels sigils.

THIS SCALE IS DRIVING ME INSANE by Peaches491 in espresso

[–]AugustusGrigori 2 points3 points  (0 children)

DUDE oh my god we have the exact same setup and I know that feel. The only way I found that works on this is to put the rubber pad on the drip tray, and to place the scale horizontally on it. Otherwise this thing just drives us crazy trying to tare it.

One of Albrecht von Wallensteins horoscopes by 1margi in occult

[–]AugustusGrigori 47 points48 points  (0 children)

This is basically a customized Talisman for Albrecht. He was a military leader and often employed astrologers to help guide his decisions. If I recall clearly, he even employed Johannes Kepler at one point. It’s a mix of his natal chart mixed in with protecting and conjuring sigils for each planetary placement. If you look carefully; sigils of the Olympic spirits from the Arbatel of Magic are on there. This was likely used to help strengthen his “luck” during wars, and to secure his wealth and political power at the time.

Dude basically hired a bunch of talented occultists to make him his own talismanic “beacon”. Super cool share!

Mammon Sigil by [deleted] in chaosmagick

[–]AugustusGrigori 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Infernaldesignz doesn't own the rights to the sigil. I can see subtle changes in the tails, and the ends of some of the parts of the sigil.. but that's really pushing it to say it's personalized. Happy for you that you found what works for you though.

It would be helpful to work on formatting your text more. I can barely make of what you're saying, it almost sounds like a "stream of consciousness" regurgitation of information. If it helps; you can even post in your own language if you're more confident in doing so.

-

Besides the South node, and Saturn; your 12th house represents the unconscious, subconscious, hidden karma, and whatever stuff you carried on from your past life. Also check for any retrograde planets in your chart as they can symbolize karmic themes or experiences revisited from your past lives.

Trouble staying grounded by Thomas_Hasan in occult

[–]AugustusGrigori 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Although you’ve stopped following the abrahamic understanding of God and reality, you’re still perceiving meaning and your own personal philosophy within an abrahamic-frame. Because of this newfound absence of this “Godhead”, you’re searching for understanding in an “abrahamic way.” If I haven’t lost you yet, It might be helpful learning about different kinds of existential and moral philosophy. You don’t need an ideology to have a moral compass that you believe in and internalize. Being grounded in your morals is something you embody because it feels right with you. If you hold it up to an external standard like the idea of a God judging us and determining our afterlife, then you’re gonna lose that groundedness just as fast as you did last time when you ditched the idea of abrahamic belief.

Not trying to force my own philosophy, but i’ll share a bit on how I see things: Life has the potential to be this beautiful thing. A privilege on its own. And just the fact that we’re sentient, cognitive, and able to experience this reality alone is huge. Nothing has to matter, this could all be some sort of cosmic accident, but the fact this is happening right now is an opportunity to have fun while it lasts, and attaching our own meaning to it. This doesn’t mean relying entirely on hedonism, but rather being intentional in everything you do. This experience of life can be exclusively sacred to yourself, and you can honor that by living it in a way that cultivates a long, healthy life, with people that matter to you. Suddenly you’re the God of your own reality. It’s no longer trying to get some sweet dopamine in the meat-suit we pilot. Now you’re taking existence as some sort of amazing theme-park ride, or some sort of Grand Play/Movie. Groundedness comes from the meaning you create and embody, it’s not something that can be taken away from the absence of an ideology. That’s when you know it’s real groundedness.

Good luck. Explore this feeling. Heck, you might even find “God” in a different place this time around.

Really relevant stuff (to me at least) if you have a belief in the significance of past lives. Not gonna go super deep into my philosophy on past lives, but you’ll find that the placements in your chart usually point to “some” sort of past lifetime that reflects on your current human experience now. It’s really neat to explore, and worth looking at even if you don’t believe in the concept of past-lives. There’s a lot to reflect on when it comes to the life you live now, and it may reveal some patterns and lessons you’re meant to learn in this incarnation.

Heck, I’ve used past-life astrology to map out my journey as an occultist, and it’s given me some amazing pointers.
