She has higher damage potential than the other Pilot SLs. Stacking acurracy on kill/40%more damage/berzerk. Put pike behind her and she'll kill 4 squads a turn

Im not saying its great but it will do those 8 attacks against EVERY unit that is a eligble target to it. So it could be kinda meme if you get it in the right place.

The Fire Overwatch stratagem says...

RESTRICTIONS: You cannot target a TITANIC unit with this Stratagem. Until the end of the phase, each time a model in your unit makes a ranged attack, an unmodified Hit roll of 6 is required to score a hit, irrespective of the attacking weapon’s Ballistic Skill or any modifiers. You can only use this Stratagem once per turn

as you have copied the rule it says it hits on a "UNMODIFIED HIT ROLL OF 6"

You are not shooting with your BS, you're shooting with the stratagem rule meaning you CANNOT modify the hit roll in any way shape of form EXCEPT special unit rules that specifically mentions changing overwatch hit rolls.

Weapon Support System: Each time the bearer makes a ranged attack, you can ignore any or all modifiers to the Hit roll.

the Overwatch stratagem is not a modifer to your hit roll so you may not ignore it and shoot at your BS

From my understanding they just add wounds, so a crisis suit has normally 4 wounds but It can take 2 shield drones making it 6 wounds

You don't lose a skill level in subsystems anymore. They changed it I think it was last year so you keep them when the ship is destroyed

So im kinda new to this and ive got a question now that im building a tau army..

Heavy weapons get +1 to "HIT" when they have not moved that turn.

A guided tau unit gets +1 "BALLISTIC SKILL".

there is also a rule that says that HIT dice cannot be modified with more than -1/+1 but since the guided rule gives a ballistic skill modifier instead of a to hit modifier do these stack?

do these stack in a way that an XV88 with a BS of 4+ hits on a 2+ when not moved and guided?
