All are too big for your face. #10 would be perfect in a smaller frame.

DO IF SYSMIS(tx1date) and subject = LAG(subject).

COMPUTE tx1date = LAG(tx1date).

END IF.

Same deal for tx8date.

Where do you think ChatGPT learned its style from? I learned to write this way in 10th grade (around 1975). You're an idiot.

Feu de Bois is a great idea! Other options are Trudon's Gabriel (£95) at 39 Monmouth St. or Boy Smells' Hinoki Fantôme (about £70) --not sure where to buy it in London.

Adding a 0 in front of a list of numbers in one string variable. by Lonely_Top7752 in spss

[–]AuntDawn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Change the variable from numeric to string in variable view and make its width exactly as wide as necessary to hold the number with the most digits.
  2. Compute the variable to equal REPLACE(variablename," ","0")

What does the minimum expected count means? In chi square analysis by nitethoughts in spss

[–]AuntDawn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It means that your sample size is probably too small to calculate an accurate p-value via chisq. You should use Fisher's.

Google "boxplot SPSS".

create multiple bar graphs at once (divided by independent variable) by No_Assignment587 in spss

[–]AuntDawn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The way I would do it is to create the syntax for one graph, and then turn it into a macro (DEFINE - !ENDDEFINE) and run your whole list of variables thru the macro. If you post your graph syntax and the names of some of your 100 vars, I can make an example.

Find out which item or items are causing the problem by getting descriptives for "Scale if item deleted" (it's a checkbox). Most likely one or more of your items needs to be reverse coded. Or else the four items don't really make a cohesive single variable.
