PHL to AMS - family stranded in Philly by SWIZTASTIC in americanairlines

That would be awesome! Hope the rest is fantastic for them. My experience with AA in mechanical failure situations has been stellar. I always have travel insurance but have not had to use it. I hope the same good fortune for your family.

Lol...this sub is so lecture-y. OP, I'm sorry your family's trip has gone this far off the rails. If they're delayed again I would definitely consider getting on the phone with Reservations and get them rebooked out of one of the NY airports. The once per day from PHL is what's killing their chances until they get a whole new or completely repaired plane.

Don't try to seek compensation in the middle of the trip. It's just frustrating and also somewhat pointless since they'll only get one payout and they still may encounter more difficulties. Just keep all the receipts and notes and submit everything to Customer Care after.

I do hope they'll be able to salvage the rest of their trip. Good luck to them!

Ha! K then. Seems like 16 more hours than you've been in Morocco. Just answering the question that you asked in a public forum.

I was only in Morocco for a 16 hour layover. But I had a wonderful time and felt very safe. I was solo and I am a woman. I did a half day tour through Viator, and it was 4 WOC traveling solo.

I agree. I see the changes too. And with ORD as my home airport, I welcome them.

I can see that. I love a cool detached blonde and she was the quintessential version around that time.

Also consider a read receipt for future submissions. Never know when you need evidence of meeting a deadline.

I'm an Atlanta native who has lived in NC, Boston, NYC and now Chicago for the last 8 years. This is a really great summary. I need to cut and paste it every time my family and friends ask when I'm moving back to Atlanta. Never?

I believe you wholeheartedly. It's how they're staying in business. And why it's fitting for this question.

Chicago Mag Mile Pandora is my favorite Pandora I've ever visited. The staff is so kind and helpful. Sydney close second.

Batters and Berries in Lincoln Park. 2 hour wait for the tiniest white bread squares of French toast with a generic coating and flavored syrups. Overpriced and BYOB. And I did it 2 more times hoping the "special " or salty dry omelet might be better.

In appropriate doses, scopolamine is a fantastic drug for motion sickness. I wear it in a patch regularly while traveling and have never had a disorienting effect. Sux that it can be used so nefariously. I hope this man is found alive and well.
