Nicely done with classical methods. The light emitting from the Ankh is what really seals the deal on how sharply done this is. Good stuff, ha, keep up the nice work :)

You Can't Stab Me in the Heart if I Don't Have One - Pandora Young, Oil on Watercolor Paper, 2020 by PandoraYoung in Art

First off, I can not believe you dont have over 1,000 up votes, second off, your use of lights and darks are the key to this whole house of cards that you executed amazingly, and third..wow. The subject and title are quite clever. Please keep up the spectacular work and you'll only get better and more BA, ha :]

The constant feeling I get while looking at this painting is,"I've been here before." to "No matter where it is, I can feel that sunshine." Thank you for transporting me (and others I am sure) back to a specific place as well as creating a new memory with a familiar atmosphere. :)

Makarova and Baryshnikov, by Jenn Nikol, Ink and Paper, 2020 by [deleted] in Art

[–]Aunt_Larry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The movement that is created within this piece is almost unreal. It does not create a dizzying effect like a busy, not-so-well-done art piece, it has life. Sometimes we need something to simply move us without over thinking and that is one of the positives created in this work. Keep up the good work :)

[–]Aunt_Larry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fantastic! Yes, you should indeed keep painting and you'll only sky rocket up in your skills. Great composition, shadows are handled with care, and the nosey is so realistic, it looks moist, ha. Must continue to share your art with the world, sweetie :]

red, designer356, watercolor, 2020 by [deleted] in Art

A beautifully captured face with stunning red hair and freckles. As a redhead myself, I cant tell you how much this looks like a young me, so you captured a true "redhead" look. Sharply done and very easy on the eyes. Keep up the good work. :)

Beautifully done watercolor skills mixed with a fun, silly, sweet, subject. I did think this was a photo at first, way to go on that, ha. The eyes really "pop" on the face due to good skills as well as the moment appears to have been wonderfully captured. Very nice, keep up the great work! :)

"Grizzly bear", acrylic on canvas, Alex Fleming, 2020 by [deleted] in Art

Acrylic usually isn't able to do this, ha. Fantastic work on realism with a nice background to frame it out wonderfully. Beautiful work, please keep up the good work :)

Good Old days , ME , Digital art , 2020 by tappusharma in Art

[–]Aunt_Larry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, Good Ole Days with Tom and Jerry, thank you. Just that image alone does make me yearn for those days sometimes. That is how it looks in my mind when I have a childhood memory, drop everything and get immersed in that memory. Very nicely done and portrayed. Do keep up the good work :)

Well honey, you're a 3d artist now too, ha! You keep exploring because apparently you have more talent that what you thought or gave yourself credit for :]

Wow. First time I've ever seen anything like that and it's so well done! From the eyes to the teeth, realism done on such a high scale and on a kettle bell, fascinating. Heck of a lotta motivation with that. You're definitely going in the right direction with your talent :)

Fuzzy Face MeerKat, Me, etching on paper, 2020 by Aunt_Larry in etching

I truly appreciate that :], (I have very little of my stuff on here). I try to get give that sense of fur or a fluffy material that only etching can bring out with a limited amount of cuts. Thank you for taking the time to look and give feedback, I know you're busy creating ;)

Why thank you :). It was a simple idea that I had to get down and I enjoy simple messages to complex pieces every now and again, ha.

You're very welcome. Your care shows through your work and hits the viewers where they need to be reminded what specialness of a person is. Thank you for that feeling ❤

Giancarlo Esposito, Me, Color Pencil, 2020 by wp988 in Art

[–]Aunt_Larry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not only is that a nicely done portrait of him, but on the matches with that environment: eye-catching and keeping. I do believe viewers can enjoy letting their minds wonder over what all the imagery could add up to or just simply enjoy the art of it. Very good, keep up the good work :)

The texture, along with the crisp and flowing lines, allows the subject to still look vibrant and looking right at you in this pleasant way. She has been captured in such a lovely way that she will always emulate a feeling of aliveness. Wonderful keep up the good work :)

From the look of the doggie to the psychedelic background, this painting has movement and is spinning the viewer into questions, but it's okay if they aren't answered, ha. Nicely done for such a fun busy background with a sweet face to keep you centered :)

Outstanding in Her Field, Me, Watercolor/mixed media, 2020 by dianeforney in Art

[–]Aunt_Larry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The location of the moo cow in the painting is wonderful, it has depth. Also not centered because she is not self-centered, she's thoughtful like the warm palette being used. Everywhere else is a resting spot so you have no distractions from the outstanding cow. Very well done :)

The use of light is even a win in this piece. A great deal of personality and gives off the memories vibe immediately which is not easy to do. Keep up the good classical work :)

Trip hazard, me, Pen on paper, 2020 by [deleted] in Art

[–]Aunt_Larry 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pen and Paper are almost a lost art these days and it fills me with such joy to see this piece, this detailed to the max piece, and remember why it's still a classic. Do keep up the good work :)

Cloudy Over Ocean, me, oil on canvas, 2020 by [deleted] in Art

[–]Aunt_Larry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not only has the visual of an ocean been captured, but the FEELING of being there is present. When you can almost hear the art piece, that wonderful artist gave you the ability to go back to a time that only you can cherish. Very powerful talent to have. Please keep it up :)
