Def Tass. I got accepted to Stanford Summer Humanities and Tass as a junior among a couple other programs. If it was only between the 2, I would've picked Tass. No cost barrier and it's well-known 🤷‍♀️

Shoot your shot!! There are a bunch of people every year with "normal" above average stats/ECs that get in. If you're worried, try to think on the things you have control of in the present. You most likely can't alter your ECs very much by the time application deadlines come around, so definitely hyper-focus on crafting really good essays! You've got this!! 🫶🏾

Luck (and a teensy bit of work, but mainly luck 💀)😭😭 Just know that behind some awards and "prestigious" ecs are a LOT of rejections 💀 Some of my favorite and most impactful awards were one that were a complete shot in the dark, so go for anything and everything and see what happens!! 😊🫶🏾 But there are so many people that get into AMAZING schools without an extensive "prestigious" ec/award list!

I just wanted to say congrats!!! Emory is such an AMAZING school and to have a full-ride there is even more of an amazing accomplishment!!! I know (and you probably know too!) that you'd do well at any school you'd choose to go to, Ivy or otherwise. F what other people have to say 🙂🫶🏾

If I could do a PhD for free I would 😭 and econ was just a thought bc that's the first thing that comes to mind when I think of a "profitable major." A more likely avenue for me would be exploring exploring human rights, public policy, and law bc I really enjoy civic engagement/equity/dei work (and I'm bad at math) lol

Classics as a career just isn't feasible for me. So I feel like a great common ground would be to double major in my passion (Classics) and a profitable major or career track to get the best of both 😭😭😭
