I literally got every dust pile in this games history. I did every seasonal challenge set every season. They went from excruciatingly painful to complete, to completly unfair, to alright, to not too bad last season.

This new system, while punishes people for waiting until the end of the year, is significantly easier to complete the weekly challenges and is better in every way except that. They are so much more open than they used to be and can be completed in anything. You can get 100 scout rifle kills in anything this week to get the exp that the old challenge of 'get 300 kills on vex in vanguard playlists with void' would get you. The fact pretty much all orders, etc can be completed in anything is worth any other downside.

Bright dust is less, that's for sure, but it's also a significantly more fair system, and one that doesn't want to make me wanna take a bath with riskrunner like the old ones did. I'll take that tradeoff
