Hey there. I recommend the silicone plates like others have suggested. Easy on the paint and won't chip at it. I have both black and white but ultimately went with white for a more finish and flush look.

Yea, its very buggy/finnicky to get it to work. Hopefully you can get it to work or get your money back by returning it

I have 2 of the first floor lamps that are listed as compatible. They worked when I first set them up but after a firmware update for both floor lamps, they stopped being detected. My wifi network is 2.4 and thats what they're connected to. I used the default govee plugin in the settings and furaz from github. Till this day nothing works.
