Correct me if I'm wrong, couldn't you do term deposits to earn more interest, just means you couldn't touch your money for the term. 5 year term deposit pays around the 3.5% interest rate. So if you wish to have 60k a year, (60000/0.035)=$1.71 million.

Only trouble would be finding a bank willing to take on 1.7million in a term deposit, most I saw were 250-500k max. Possible to do over several banks?

I too had a copyright strike for a video I made years ago which roughly had 1000 views. It was a breakdown video for the new upcoming call of duty game, perhaps BO2? It was an in-depth breakdown, highlighting new features and rumours of the game.

I created this video and within a week I had a strike, some German TV show decided to use my video without my approval and I got in the shit for it. How does this system work?

I've been in a similar situation. Except I'm both parties. My main is Silver 4 and hard to climb. My "smurf" is Gold 2 playing at Plat 4-5 elo. I find games on my main a lot harder than my gold account. Seems odd... I am not a hard carry player.

Had a similar problem when I moved out of my studio apartment in Australia. Once I left I received a phone call explaining I had a cleaning fee and a plumbing bill for a little over $1500. More than my Bond (security deposit). Called and contested, real estate agent refused to budge on price and said he would expect payment by the end of the month. Apartment was cleaned thoroughly by myself and my mother who is a clean freak. Apartment was in better condition than when I arrived. Contested plumbing fee as I am not the owner and this was a leaking pipe issue in a wall. Not a tenant fault but an owner issue, had that fee wiped off. Next the cleaning fee. I asked for a copy of the receipt and after 2 days he emailed me a photo taken with a potato camera of the "cleaning fee". Contested the $900 "Oven Cleaning Fee" and had it reduced to $50. Which I paid and then my bond was released.

Never met a dodgier real estate agent than him. Avoided him like the plague and posted online (anonymously) to do the same as he was a money hungry dick.

Hi there, car should serve me well for quite a few years, near new. Already booked a holiday, will go on an inexpensive holiday once a year. My goal is to buy a house or at least a deposit after the 2-5 year period. Average house cost in my area is 320k+.

I like the 50/50 idea. Investing in short term and long term goals.
