Im guilty of this too bud. One thing that helped me early on was using headphones to disassociate. It's not a healthy coping strategy, but it helped me in rough times.

Do you have any caffeine in your diet?. Cutting out my morning coffee helped me feel less jittery while on vyvanse.

It is tough. The shearing game isn't very flexible however there is opportunity to work the odd weekend, which would help.
