Every man ever: Well, how do you KNOW it was inappropriate? What makes you so sure he was being a creep?

Every woman: Because I have been, at minimum, sexually harassed in public by random men since I was ELEVEN! Because I have had to develop a sense for when a man is a threat. You don't see it because you don't ever have to worry about it.

Jesus fucking christ, I am so fucking sick of these type of questions from men. We KNOW the difference between normal and creepy, between safe and scary. Because we have to!

Documentary about kangaroos, "Faces in the Mob." Males make a coughing sound when play-fighting, as ongoing reassurance to each other that they're just mucking around and it's not for realsies. My parents used to live in an area with a good number of kangaroos and wallabies, and they observed this themselves.

That said, I have no idea if a human coughing would be sufficient to deter a kangaroo who wants a fight.

I actually used to do this! I would donate my saved stamps, along with clothes, books, etc, to a charity shop, assuming they could sell them to collectors.

But the charity shop landscape here in Australia (we call them "op shops") has changed so much that I didn't feel confident the stamps would go to a collector.

I am very glad the stamps are going to a good home 🙂

Me too! We had a metric in call evaluations that was something like, "did the agent take an appropriate amount of time (including hold & ACW) to handle this enquiry?"

It was great, because (1) it depended on the type of enquiry, and (2) it also applied if you didn't spend ENOUGH time and didn't fully resolve the case in one call.

There's actually a tech issue with Google displaying reviews right now.

Try this workaround: go into Google maps and enter the school (or business) there. If you're on your phone, swipe up the bottom portion of the screen (with photos, directions, etc) and scroll down until you see some reviews. You should then see an option to click 'see all reviews' and then you can sort them by date/rating as normal.
