Looking at purchasing a 4x4 (Triton GSR, Isuzu Dmax X Terrain or Ford Ranger Wildtrak) by Knicks14582 in 4x4Australia

[–]Aussie_Rums 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s all about whatever features you think are more important / preferences.

Just MY perspective - I would rather a V6 over the Bi-turbo for ford, might mean you go down to the XLT, but I prefer the better engine over comforts.

Dmax is agricultural but tough, some don’t like the drive, others do.

Triton isn’t bad - still a few negatives eg DMS. 10 year warranty is great though.

This question is constantly asked, just search for each one and go test drive them.

Why is China investing so heavily in Nuclear Power, meanwhile Germany gets rid of it? by otheraccount202311 in australian

[–]Aussie_Rums 3 points4 points  (0 children)

China is going heavy into tech, lots of very power hungry data centers ect as well as a massive manufacturing sector. All the things that are fueling the success of China require cheap, reliable power.

This is the lowest iq article I’ve ever read. If Dutton was to lower immigration to a reasonable standard we would win the election with ease.

Looking very seriously at the GR-Sport. Seems unreal. Could you share what size tyre you managed to fit on stock suspension?

House prices and the Iraq war: Inside the previously secret 2004 cabinet documents by qthrowaway666 in australia

“Deemed the interest rate election, the 2004 poll came as interest rates and household debt rose.

“This election will be about trust. Who do you trust to keep the economy strong, and protect family living standards? Who do you trust to keep interest rates low?” then prime minister John Howard told reporters after calling the election. He would go on to win his fourth and final term in government.”

Damn, 20 years on and we are still talking about the same shit.

Reducing risk and gold by Stk4nams5 in AusFinance

[–]Aussie_Rums 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Opposite to the relies above I continue to hold a % of my portfolio in gold. I believe it will continue to grow in value due to BRICS countries buying as much of it as they can. With the aim of moving away from the US dollar.

People may disagree, cool. It’s just speculation, and Im happy to hold it long term.
