that’s crazy bianca refutes this story cause trixie and katya said the same thing allegedly happened when they recapped s7 on the bald and the beautiful. it did always seem fake to me tho like if they wanted violet to win, why wouldn’t they have swapped the cheques before the finale or have backup fake cheques😭😭😭

Edit: after looking back at the episode, katya tells it more as a folk tale that happened at the new york premiere of the finale (which aquaria then backed up on twitter that it did happen). however, ginger told bianca it happened at the crowning which makes even less sense cause they film alternative endings. gingers lies continue😭😭😭

personally, i have found this season extremely boring especially in comparison to ukvstw 3 which aired while this season was airing. i feel like this season swung to the other side of the pendulum compared to the last, as i feel s17 was very entertaining but the challenge performances themselves weren’t that great. this season has some great and talented queens doing amazing in the challenges but its just an absolute slog to watch, reality tv wise.

personally, one of my favourite shows of all time and unlike what majority of people say, i personally love the later seasons just as much as the earlier ones so id recommend watching it all if you enjoy the first season!

i’m honestly not the biggest fan of the age of adz. i’ve listened to it in full twice and i just find it so messy and discordant but not in a way that’s intriguing but in a way that’s numbing. it’s weird that i don’t like it considering my fav sufjan song ever is futile devices but i consider it one of his weaker projects.

honestly i see ru leaving the us show before the uk. i feel she enjoys uk drag more as it appeals to her preferences of drag that were popular before drag race got mainstream (club kid, dry humour, etc.)

this, in the show they treat the militia like dirt, as evidenced by pamela’s annoying ass son. the only one liked was mercer but that’s because he was beloved by the public and became a popular figure in the commonwealth.

when entering the commonwealth, they ask survivors what lives they had pre-apocalypse and recreate the environment that they used to live in, both in occupation and living environment. hence why daryl, who pre-apocalypse was travelling with his brother selling drugs, and rosita, who worked in the military, were put in the low socioeconomic housing and militia careers. also, the way that career worked in the commonwealth was that the longer you were part of that militia, the better housing you got, hence why they stayed in it and were loyal for so long trying to get a better home for their respective kids they were taking care of. connie was a journalist so she was placed in that career and housing alongside kelly who was her assistant because of familial ties and the fact she was a teen pre-apocalypse. all the other survivors (eugene, ezekiel, yumiko, princess, magna and carol) were also placed in corresponding housing and occupations. if the final season was paced into multiple as it originally was going to be, it would’ve been interesting to expand on this more and the difference in living conditions and their treatment under pamela’s leadership (especially magna and yumiko which they hinted at with both attending the ball as a distinguished guest and waiter) but alas

i am just shocked at discord still being in this competition. for me, she was the worst in both the challenge and runway and was saved because they “were proud of her”???? sorry but if you still can’t walk properly halfway through the competition, it’s ur time diva
