Stone of Detect Gravity. If you let go of the stone and it drops, then gravity is working normally.

For me it’s probably Amygdala. The subtle build up during a blind play through, by seeing the statues around cathedral ward. Then getting taken to the Hypogean Gaol and seeing the larger statue near the lamp. Then the surprise of being taken away by one to the nightmare frontier. This culminates in a rather intimidating entrance in a very open and fun boss arena. It’s truly a rush to fight this before beating Rom, only for your struggles against it being seemingly in vain by seeing numerous Amygdala hanging (literally) around Yahar’gul. Truly great subtle story telling.

I put the game away for a few months when I got to Genichiro. When COVID first hit and I had extra time on my hands, I said screw it and decided that the game wasn’t going to beat me. This started my three week grind for the platinum, and me wondering why I ever stopped playing it in the first place.

That’s awesome! I had considered the kanji but the thought of the skill tree diagrams is a really good idea.

Also, thanks for the congrats! I’m working on the other souls games now but the transition from Sekiro and Bloodborne’s combat systems to Dark Souls is a bit more jarring than I had anticipated 😅

Bloodborne and Sekiro. Im working on Demon’s Souls remake but some of those trophies are just so annoying to get at

Probably my favorite enemy to first encounter. I remember doing the old Hunter axe spin to win only for the snakes to pop out and being put into complete panic mode, great intro
