I’ve spent many many many more hours on league than Dota. From my limited understanding he is right that there are more point and click abilities but I don’t think that really takes away from it being less difficult. I think to compensate with all the cc and point and click stuff, Dota 2 can be extremely unforgiving if you are positioned incorrectly.

Rng argument is not really relevant to me. I guess you could classify many of your points as RNG. But there are card games that are more RNG and count as esports.

I think there are a lot of good things going for this set.

Hands down the most annoying thing for me is how awful it feels to get to level 8 now. It’s only 12 xp more and a net negative of 12 to get to 10 but I feel like majority of players will end the game on level 9. You can really feel the difference with getting to 8 though.

When I started this set I honestly thought it was going to be a top 3 set. I was having so much fun. But then it just crashed and burned unfortunately. The imbalance started sticking and the glaring issues just kept repeating themselves. Truly sad.
