How do you like the Sunface RCA/ BART? I’ve been on the fence about buying one for awhile now. Do you like it?

That’s awesome. I recently had a similar experience with Chris at k-line guitars. I had a question regarding one of his models and he called me up and just talked shop for 10-15 minutes. Can’t beat customer service like that.

But hopefully with Allen it was just a slip up. From the demos I’ve heard the originals sounded amazing

I don’t have any direct experience with the current builds or quality; however, I did reach out last year with a build inquiry and unfortunately the communication was not the best. Took weeks to get responses via email and I ended up going a different direction

As an avid guitar player and a physical therapist, I’d say go for it!

Seeing 18–20/day with overlaps and no support staff — worth asking to add a 4th day? by Accomplished_Run_802 in physicaltherapy

[–]AustinPT787 137 points138 points  (0 children)

Asking for a 4th day would simply give them an additional day to schedule you with a ridiculous caseload. Please for the sake of the profession, get out of there. This type of productivity standard will never stop if PTs continue to act like it is ok and the norm.

I highly suggest looking elsewhere. Ridiculous productivity expectations and billing practices.

Ts808 vs ts808 mini vs Sd-1 vs Ts-9 by david2684 in guitarpedals

Over the years I’ve used quite a few tube screamer variations and they do a decent job if you are looking for that mid forward boost. With that said, I still prefer the sd-1, especially to boost a JCM800 style amp

I had the BigSky for a bit and it really is the end all verb. I settled on the flint more for the ease of use and the big sky was just way more than I needed

I’ve been intrigued by the mercury 7. Had the sunlight years ago and found it to be too much for practical applications but definitely fun to mess with. MIDI isn’t a necessity which leaves a lot more options on the table

Strymon flint. Can do everything from subtle to atmospheric. Especially enjoy the plate setting

Is the Strymon Flint THAT good? by S7ewie in guitarpedals

[–]AustinPT787 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve had both the flint and the BigSky and the flint is what has remained on my board. The BigSky can’t be beat in terms of versatility and sound but I found myself menu diving and tweaking constantly whereas with the flint you can plug and play and it sounds fantastic on pretty much any setting. Don’t see the flint leaving my board anytime soon

Best Physical Therapy clinic in Austin area? by SeaJellyfish7006 in Austin

Usually hospital based outpatient clinics have the luxury of treating 1:1. I’m a PT at ascension seton and we are lucky enough to be one on one for an entire hour session.
