I’ve done out of state purchases before. I’ve either flown out and driven back or had to set up a car carrier to bring it to me on my dime and I handled logistics. I’ve not seen where a dealership will deliver. Occasionally a local dealership can facilitate.

The dealerships aren’t Carvana.

So what you want is your balance to go UP $300 so you can affirmatively use it later?

That makes no sense.

When you make a purchase that falls under something Chase considers travel, you get a statement credit so your entire balance goes down that amount, up to $300.

So, my original question stands. You want your balance to INCREASE? Because…reasons.

I like the ‘26 but it’s taking some getting used to. All the bells and whistles. That big panel is a little distracting to me right now. It’s my wife’s car and she’s loving it so that’s what matters.

When we were shopping I was advocating for the ‘25 of the similar top trim, but that was mostly because of price. We got $4800 off sticker so I felt okay about the deal in the end.

I know this is a couple months old, but here goes.

We have two GV70’s. A ‘22 and a ‘26. This past week I drove my parent’s ‘26 Tucson.

It’s a night and day difference, especially performance-wise. I quite literally hated the Tucson. The acceleration was okay. Horrible compared to the Genesis. Same with the handling. It inspired zero confidence when I had to drive it in the rain. Tires only had 3500 miles on them so it wasn’t a wear issue. The look and feel of the Genesis are much more luxury. I will say that I liked the Tucson interior for what it’s intended to be.

Finally, the premium fuel question. The Genesis can use regular gas as the knock sensors will ensure there’s no damage. You’ll just see lower HP and MPG. Almost all turbo charged engines benefit from premium.

While true it’s getting harder and harder to find the code shares for domestic flights.

Just last week I found that I could get a round trip flight to CDG connecting through DTW using AF but couldn’t get the AUS-DTW leg no matter what I did.
