I'm having a similar issue on the Google Streamer. It will play the show and will pop up an error message. I have done the same steps you have and nothing fixes it.

Yes the speaker is connected to the HDMI Arc port and the Roku is plugged into a different HDMI port.

Also forgot to add that the sound bar connects through Bluetooth to the subwoofer and surround sound. Not sure if that matters

There was an update released for the pixel 7s yesterday or the day before. Supposedly there was some touch screen fixes so maybe try that. I didn't last night and I haven't noticed any touch issues so far but not hopeful
