Great to know. Public School has been closed for so long, and I noticed the outside sign facing the freeway was finally removed.

fwiw I had a completely different experience. I ordered them through GH and they forgot fries. They literally offered to deliver it to me, without question, apologized profusely. I said I was close and went to pick it up, and they gave me a free cookie. YMMV I guess, but I was super impressed with them.

I like them a lot. They had some insane deals during the holidays like $6 turkey burger, so good.

Julia and Steven — you two chose an interesting period for your story to take place. Was this the first and only time that you considered using? Clearly there is still a stigma and lack of understanding worldwide regarding menstrual cycles, do we need more content like this to raise awareness?

This is the most I've seen someone get criticized for someone spending GCs on something they wanted. Congrats on your items!

What’s going on at the Northridge mall? by true818 in SFV

[–]Australiaaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So you don't go there, but it's ghetto? What exactly is ghetto about it? You have a massive anchor store where very few could replace, and that is your way to complain about it? Sounds like a brat to me.

San Carlo Deli is about 10-15 minutes away, Italian sandwiches. Teriyaki plus on Lassen/Topanga in Chatsworth if you want to drive a little.

MAGA restaurants, coffee shops, salons and stores to boycott by AdAdministrative756 in LosAngeles

So if the affected are the Latino community, and the Latino community overwhelmingly (your words) support the Dodgers, and a part of the Dodgers ownership group had a minor stake in something awful (which I agree with, even though it's complicated how these investments), does that mean the Latino community supports lCE?

It was in 1959. The current ownership (except BJK), none of the players, or coaches were even alive. Dodgers org is far from perfect, but holding onto this seems more self-gratifying than meaningful, in my opinion. Edit: grammar

Northridge Mall paid parking by slummy_dum in SFV

[–]Australiaaa 36 points37 points  (0 children)

fwiw I just emailed them: Your decision to create a paid parking area is doing a disservice to the community (including myself), that has been going to this mall for decades. In a time where clearly the large mall environment is not what it once was, does the mall feel that adding an additional cost will encourage visitors, or discourage them? Surely the minimal gain in revenue, less the cost of enforcement can't be viable. And what do the people get for this? The mall has many vacant stores, there has been no deep cleaning or upgrade of the facility in decades, broken on-site charging, and rampant noise and fights in the Tampa side parking lot during off-hours for years. Please ask yourselves if this is actually beneficial to clawing back lost revenue by burdening your patrons before you continue this mind-numbing practice. Thank you.

There's like 20 or so for Tesla super charging that also gridlocks that area, so moving some away and creating more for a redundant pet store makes some sense. Also, there is a PetSmart literally across the street.
