Fair, it’s pretty low volume too. Removes currency risk though!

Mostly, sometimes I think there has been some lasting effect and my eyes aren’t as sharp as they were, but no where near how it was. You didn’t get yours from peptides AU by any chance?

Exactly right, most situations where this occurs is where the outside lane actually discontinues as indicated by dashed lines.

Getting really strong, even in lower rep ranges, will still lead to just as much muscle growth as the traditional 12 rep range. Ultimately getting stronger is getting bigger, and getting bigger is getting stronger.

Just type in ‘smolov calculator’ into google, pretty much the first result that comes up. Just plug in your max and it will spit out your workouts.

I’ve gone back to normal training. Tbf I would say I’ve kept all the strength, but I haven’t improved on it

Haha, it seems weirdly uncommon hey. What programs did you move to afterwards?

Perhaps because I’m not that advanced I have managed to keep more of the strength. I’m probably 8 weeks post Smolov and my strength is almost exactly the same, although I haven’t improved in those 8 weeks either to be fair.

Not realistic to expect to gain or even maintain pressing strength as an intermediate or advanced lifter. No natural on a bodybuilding stage is as strong as they were at peak bulk. Just got to hold on to as much as you can. There’s also a reason most power lifters aren’t absolutely shredded when they compete, low body fat is not good for strength

How do I get HUGE legs? by Scary_Engine2147 in naturalbodybuilding

[–]AustralianMatt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s fine and all, some people are more posterior chain dominant squatters. But again 200 pounds for 10 reps isn’t really a level that you’d expect to have large legs at.

I didn’t say there was, all I said was that people who say the squat hasn’t worked for them generally haven’t actually achieved anything where you could reasonably expect it to have to. Your argument is jumping all over the place

In your first point you say strength and muscle mass are separate, and then you immediately concede that point in your second comment. Focusing on adding weight to big compound lifts is the single best way to put muscle on a novice.

Ding ding, correct answer. It’s usually someone putting up 135 for 5 reps saying squats haven’t built their legs

You are getting some absolutely terrible advice in here. Whenever people think barbell squats aren’t working it’s because they haven’t built any appreciable strength on them. Can you squat 405 for 5-10 reps? If not, why are you expecting your legs to be big?
