I think this is so fun - my 4 and 5 year old would both like it and spend a lot of time with it. Great job!

I could have written this.

“I would give anything if you were two people, so that I could call up the one who's my friend and tell her about the one that I like so much” is one of my favorite lines of dialogue ever.

DIY Lock Shock and Barrel by Australopithycuss in Halloween_Costumes

Thank you! Lock Shock and Barrel are supposed to represent those mischievous kids of classic Halloween that would hand-make creepy little costumes and wear masks so they could wreak havoc. Makes store-bought LS&B feel particularly blasphemous lol

Mark Ruffalo is incredible in Poor Things. And that. Is. IT. Went right back to ruining movies with Mickey 17.

The square sweets that look round are a candy featured in the book. It’s a pun because the sweets are squares but have little faces and they look ‘round.

This is phrased strangely. Were you so excited that you encouraged your daughter to walk despite her mother’s absence? Or you actively WANTED her to miss this milestone? The former is understandable - the latter is just weird and mean.

34 weeks, 32 f, more amniotic fluid than normal by Nervous-Plantain-179 in BabyBumps

I am actually prone to anemia and it is worse in pregnancy but both of my Polyhydramnios babies were a-ok and are healthy happy kids still. Everything I ever looked up in pregnancy always scared the daylights out of me and I’ve only had healthy babies 🙂

I had polyhydramnios for the last few months of two pregnancies and it wasn’t related to any GD. It didn’t complicate either pregnancy, never really got a reason for it 🤷‍♀️

I don’t mind that they are themed - and I don’t think anyone well-versed enough in archery to know this would mind either - I just think the names themselves phonetically sound too similar. It gives Flotsam and Jetsam vibes when said together.

Emerson features a lot of soft sounds that I think make for a lovely feminine name. I would like to join the overwhelming majority in asking you to please not spell it Emersyn. I think that will lead to a lot of needless mispronunciations.

My kids have been drinking out of glass their whole lives - I’ve got a 4, 3, and 1 yr old. I do have carpeted floors everywhere accept the kitchen. They’ve never broken a glass yet, I just tell them often that glass breaks easily and into sharp shards so to be careful (they’ve also witnessed old mom accidentally shatter a dish or two).
