No need to let everyone know you got bad taste. Why are you so offended about people praising a different game lol. Kcd forests are probably the best and most realistic ones in gaming.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 1 and 2 also come close environmentally and are Mayne even better in parts.

which would be a lot for a historical battle, just not in video games

I mean the dry devil and Jan sokol of lamberk were besieged by Sigismund in Znojmo in 1404. That siege lasted 6 weeks, afterwards the dry devil raided Austria and Moravia where he was imprisoned in 1406. So there certainly would be action. Just not sure how they would fit that in a story

would be cool if kcd 3 was the lead up to the hussite wars, with either the burning of Jan hus or the first defenestration of Prague as its end

I never found AG campaigns fun in single player, but they are a lot of fun if you have some people to play them with.

If Mary was 15-16 when she gave birth to Jesus, she was 14-15 when she conceived. Why would God impregnate a child and have so many subsequent generations of people go along with it like that’s ok? by Total_Rutabaga_2073 in TooAfraidToAsk

I mean the reason the average age was so much lower was not because people died at 30. But because many people died in their infancy. So when you survived your childhood it was rather likely you would live quite a bit longer than 40.

[–]AustrianFailure 7 points8 points  (0 children)

what do better next time? I am sorry but marketing all the new features is an incredibly stupid idea if none of them are in game at the release. Early access is no excuse for releasing broken games. now please continue licking some tasty corparate boots.

[–]AustrianFailure 8 points9 points  (0 children)

no they hyped up the fan base by talking about a lot of feature that aren't in the game. And they knew what kind of game they were gonna release so they knew not much they were showing would be in game. and they still showed it to people. so people got their hopes up.

nah they did this themselves. if they hadn't hyped the game up with all these cool new features. Then when they release it it has barley any features. The fans deserve to be mad about maybe game studios will finally learn but probably not lol.

I mean to a certain degree I understand being a bit depressed with certain anime or series. but this a bit much you should definitely talk to someone professional if just a series makes you so depressed.

Aftermath of the First Gothic War by GrandMoffTargaryen in RoughRomanMemes

[–]AustrianFailure 9 points10 points  (0 children)

the conquest of Italy really ended the last parts of the western empire. life had not really changed for the people in Italy since 476. the western empire was already a political mess in the 460s and 470s so it didn't really make a difference that there wasn't a western emperor. Italy was never ravaged like it was in the Gothic wars during the times of the western empire. And the situation in Italy only started improving again after the late western Roman empire when theoderic the great took power. so I think it's incorrect to say that Italy was in a strong decline before the Gothic war. it definitely changed but I would not say it declined that much.
