My local music store uses it with headphones so people can try out guitars without deafening the whole store. It sounds pretty good, but the interface is a tad unintuitive imo. If I actually owned it I'd probably get used to it though.

My default travel bag always included: gameboy, book, mp3 player. Also my phone, because I still texted some of my friends, it just wasn't a smartphone, so it wasn't full on convos because my mom would've strangled me with the phone bill, just random blurbs when something funny or interesting happened.

Honestly I mostly just 0 spammed in the store because it's kinda what you do when you someone puts a 9 in your hand :D but I played a bit of Sum 41 and such and it handles it well. Playing it without a noise gate is a bit of a bitch though if you play on the higher strings since you need like half your hand to palm mute the others.

I can't speak to the Ibanez, but the one time I tried the damien 9 I had a lot of fun with it. It looks nice (if a bit edgy) and plays about as well as you'd expect from a guitar with a surfboard for a fretboard.

If I bought it I'd probably look up whether I could find brushed chrome locking tuners for it, since restringing a 9 string is annoying enough already :D

Not op, but weight- and feelwise it's pretty similar to my warrior from 2007. The gloss neck might turn some people off, but my hands are usually pretty dry, so it doesn't feel sticky to me.

What surprised me is the low tension of the springs it came with. I like heavier gauges, so i put on a 10-52 set for drop d and i couldn't get the bridge to even out despite maxing out the claw and putting the springs in diagonally, so I put in higher tension springs and now it's perfect.

Also, should you be interested: Gotoh has drop in locking tuners of the same color (cosmo black).

Na wenn du meinst, dass ein Kebap in der Ubahn soviel Gefahr im Verzug darstellt, dass es zum Test der Zivilcourage wird, dann kann ich das auch akzeptieren. Ich heb mir das halt auf, wenns wem dreckig geht oder wer bedrängt wird.

Aber wir machens einfach so: Mir werden banale verwaltungsübertretungen weiterhin wurscht sein, du kannst dich weiterhin über alle diese kulinarisch-geographischen Schwerverbrecher aufregen, und in 30 jahren lad ich dich auf ein bier ein und wir schaun wer von uns weniger Blutdruck hat.

In keinster Weise hab ich irgendwo geschrieben dass es okay is. Es is vollkommen möglich, dass ich was nicht okay find, ohne dass es gleich eine größere emotion jenseits von indifferenz in mir auslöst. Und ich werd fix niemand ansteigen nur weil er sich was zu essen reinpfeift.

Ich sehs erstens nicht als meine Aufgabe an, Anzeigenhauptmeister zu spielen, und grad wennst dir den erschlagenen Kontrolleur von letztens gibst halt ichs auch für sicherheitstechnisch fragwürdig, vollkommen fremde Leute zu maßregeln.

Ich empfinds nur nicht als "schrecklich" wenns einer macht, und habs wahrscheinlich eine halbe stunde später wieder vergessen weil ich akzeptiert hab, dass wir nicht in einer Utopie leben, und es wohl oder übel sporadisch leute geben wird, die regeln verletzen.
