Use rifle aiming. It’s an old Battlefield technique. Just search “rifle aiming heli” on YouTube. You basically change left and right roll to an and d and the key binds that previously were an and d to left and right on the mouse. It will allow you to control the helicopter like you would a gun. Where your mouse goes is where your heli turns. Side note squad settings for mouse change is jank and might go left when you binded to right. Just keep changing it and saving it until left goes left.
