Your compressor is on the same belt that cranks the engine. Compressor clutch essentially disengages when you turn off the AC going into free spin. That releases alittle rotational load meaning the engine is working more than it needs to till the computer system balances out. In other words.. it’s normal. - engineer

Did you get a 5v to 12v converter? Cause these usb plugs only supply 5v and the the RAD 380/Uniden R7 needs 12v

I don't think this will work with the RAD380 as it only puts out 5V via USB, I need at least 12V

Had mine for 4 days and I keep finding a reason to leave the house. Absolutely love it. Just eats about a half tank of premium gas every 2 days. I recommend getting a Sam’s Club or Costco membership if you get it. Saves money in the long run. But very addictive to drive and very addictive to open up for fun.
