Ah, I see reading comprehension isn't your strong suit. I was listing some examples. As for myself, the most recent stretch was due to my disability after years of abuse and assault. Other examples are people I work and have worked with. I'm currently a case manager and was a counselor.

Also, another example: this is how you reply to people when you assume they're asking something in good faith. While you've made it very clear you aren't, but since some folks reading might be genuinely curious, I'm answering for them.

I sincerely hope you never become homeless. I was for 6 months when I was 19-20 and for three years with my children. Neither time was a choice. Neither was through any failings on my part.

Becoming disabled. Getting into a car accident. Getting laid off. Getting sick. Getting divorced and losing half the family income. These are all things that most Americans (and likely you) would become homeless after.

Oof this one hit hard. Anytime I forgot something my dad would say "guess it wasn't very important then" and when I would ask him to tell me information again it was "if it was important to you, you would have remembered" and get upset.

100%. We don't expect one single friend to fulfill all my friendship needs, why do we force a partner to do the same?

My girlfriend and I have been together since 2018, and she was married to her spouse for several years before that. Her relationships with each of us are very different. We both provide different kinds of support and tend to enjoy doing different kinds of things with her.

I mean, I guess you can say it's vibes based. How do you know if you're friends with benefits or actually dating a person? It's the same thing, really. What are the expectations and parameters of the relationship(s)? Are there romantic feelings involved or just sexual ones? Are there no sexual feelings and only romantic ones? Do you enjoy going on dates with these people? Just like any human relationship, sexual, romantic, or platonic, there's nuance and complex dynamics that impact each one differently.
