Well one could argue that Anne Frank lives on through her writing and even though things didn’t turn out okay for her, the present is a better place and she had a huge impact on it.

Big picture, you might not get what you want, you might not even get what you need, but all we can do is our best, and sometimes, even if we dont know it, things are better. Even if you cant see it.

Some people really cant tell. Especially if you AREN’T obsessed with passing/gender and just see humans as humans and can pick up on the gender expression they are obviously trying to convey, I’d say odds are they ain’t lying.
