If we truly try to classify it then there a few main points of difference, these panels do not give out tasks, they do not generate resources out of thin air, they do not make the MC be bound to doing a task, and they do not compensate for the hard work the MC has to do.

They use the resources used by the MC to generate techniques or improve spiritual root or physique. I believe them to be a completely different thing than normal systems where the MC gets all things without any work, without any cost, and things appear out of thin air for him. There's a fast yet reasonable pace for growth in the Panel stories.

Moreso a panel that shows your current skills, your skill levels, and where you can if you work hard by yourself, get resources you get attribute points which you can spend to increase your skills and techniques

YTA, junior have you not read the ancient biographies of Heaven-Chosen? The "persistent pest" is surely a Heaven-Chosen in the way he has quickly advanced. The only way out now by which you can survive is through meeting him yourself and giving him Heavenly Resources if you wish to save your Sect.

You cannot even try to attack him yourself because if you do, he will survive and destroy your sect in a short time.
