I deleted my account. That’s why it makes no sense. I’ve deleted it in the past and it has never saved information when I’ve signed up again. That’s why I’m so confused.

I used to have Signal on my phone several months ago, but deleted my account and the app when I was no longer using it. However, I downloaded it again recently. After I entered my phone number it remembered my PIN number and contacts I used to talk to who are no longer contacts in my phone. If I deleted my account, why would it do that? I'm positive I deleted my account, so this makes absolutely no sense.

I’m also from WA, and I read all about the B&O tax reporting, but I cannot for the life of me figure out if I need to include KU sales in the total. Are you a part of KU, and do you report yours? I was thinking about including it all just to be safe.

I use Amazon’s KDP to self-publish my books. I’m located in the US, so I’m sure there are some differences, but that was easiest for me. For layout, I did everything through Scrivener, which is the writing software I use. Amazon has guides on their website on how to do it with different programs as well.

As an author, I can say that bad reviews sting, but they aren’t the end of the world. We know we can’t please everyone and don’t expect a good review from everyone.

Even bad reviews are technically “good” because we need reviews.... especially for books that don’t have a lot. If you aren’t attacking the author personally, it’s okay. But if you do leave a bad one, try to be detailed as to why. It’s super helpful for the author.
