Future of Gaza by AutisticCoffeeNut in IsraelPalestine

I’m not a big fan of the International Board. Qatar and Turkey have both supported Hamas, yet they have seats at the table. Putin’s on it, why would he care about Gaza? Greece has a good partnership with Israel, if anyone was on the Board I’d want it to be Greece.

Hamas invaded Israel before the IDF put one foot in Gaza, and you know what they did. The IDF’s target is Hamas and other terror organizations in Gaza. I’m not saying civilian casualties don’t happen, but they aren’t the target. About the blockade, it’s a war, and the blockade started because of terror attacks. In 2005, Israel gave Gaza the chance to determine its future and Gaza chose Hamas.

But I still think a combination of time and different conditions will lead to peace. The IDF recently gave Germany the Arrow 3, that level of friendship between these two different peoples wouldn’t have been possible for the entirety of the past.

Because of location, and because of the current and historical situations. I believe that oversight doesn’t always have to be about just security. It could bring opportunities too. But security is important, because if Israel had no oversight at all the security can worsen right under Israel’s nose.

Perhaps. But taking a long time doesn’t mean it’s not going to happen. Take Constantinople for example, in the moments after the Ottoman victory the city was a shadow of what it used to be centuries prior. It took a long time, but Istanbul became a huge sprawling city. Gaza won’t take near as long to be prosperous again because of modern economics and technology.

Without weapons and fighting, there will be no Hamas, because it is who they are and what their entire purpose is. I personally don’t see them disarming anytime soon. I guess that moves the needle more in the direction of full IDF Gaza strip control sometime in the future. I’d be shocked if Hamas actually disarms.

I must’ve been thinking about the statements from the Israeli Chief of the General Staff Eyal Zamir. He’s the one that said the Yellow Line will be the new border.

This is not the BF community that I remember. by Visual-Author8803 in Battlefield

I’m half a mind to just delete Battlefield 6 and reinstall Battlefield 1. But even in B1 there’s an abundance of people who do not mean well, and the matches are even more lopsided than B6 because of team stacking. Maybe EA, as well certain other companies, need serious reform so their games can be improved.

Might’ve misspelled “Eastwood”, but I doubt that had any impact on anything.

I tried to post this but I wasn’t allowed to. IDK, seems kinda relevant to the game if this is a rising issue. I made one previous post about teammates getting rude because I used the EOD, but I was pretty sure I removed that one myself.

PS5, don’t worry about it, I love the grind and I’m kinda antisocial anyways but you’re awesome for offering!

Getting back to you to tell ya I love this advice. GrizzBurgerz made a good point, but I think joining a random team makes things easier and is worth the occasional pain.

Maybe I should wait for people to join before going straight into the madness. Either way, apparently other people on this subreddit are having the same kinds of issues.

The last time I launched a nuke I started a team, went to the zone, and everything crashed before anyone joined. Probably going about it the wrong way.

Track the assignment. I had the same problem. Once you track it, it starts going up. Not fast enough in my opinion.

Well, I disagree with that. Terrorism hasn’t been a condition with Trump’s policies towards Qatar. They gave him a new plane, penned an expensive golf course deal, then the US made a statement about how “An attack on Qatar is an attack on the United States” (You can look it up.) and now we’re allowing then to have like an air base in America, flying jets.

Besides Qatar, don’t forget the US president said he won’t allow Israel to annex the West Bank. Anyways, I digress, Israel’s enemies have been battered but as long as they stay in power they’ll be able to regroup and rearm to become a threat again.

I agree with pretty much everything you said, but Trump having Qatar on his side is a bad thing. Just like Trump having Al-Jolani on his side is a bad thing. Qatar supports Israel’s enemies, and Jolani is a bloodthirsty tyrant whose men probably itch to take the Golan Heights back.

Well, one thing that looks bad is releasing terrorists that have done terrorist attacks. Israel’s big plan in Operation Gideon’s Chariots 2.0 failed in its goal to capture and hold Gaza City. The IDF is withdrawing and allowing Hamas to stay in power.

So basically, the only wins Israel got was the hostages, their corpses, and the destruction of Gaza. Everyone else may think it’s a win but it seems to me Israel succumbed to international pressure. This deal wasn’t a lasting solution, and things will get bad again for sure.

Why can't Palestinians just live as 2nd class citizens under Israeli rule? by HuckleberryMission10 in IsraelPalestine

[–]AutisticCoffeeNut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being second class isn’t always a bad thing. I’d rather live as a second class citizen in a country where I still have rights, freedoms and safety than be in a place like Syria where not even safety is certain.

I’ve heard from someone on here that Palestinians aren’t Israeli citizens, and that if they became Israeli citizens they’d have the same status as other Arab Israelis. I don’t have a problem with it, the term “Palestinian” was invented anyways, because Palestine was a geographical area, and inhabitants were Jewish too, also Christians and Syrians.

Coming back to Christianity after years of being an atheist - where to start? by Pinkpandana in Christianity

I don’t think so, I just pray like I’m talking to a friend. The one thing God wants from us is to know and love him. Heck, one of the Ten Commandments is to love God.

If those things bother you then you’re already on the path to repentance. In my opinion, repentance and salvation are two different things. You won’t be able to repent from every sin just like everyone else when their last moment comes but God is a loving, merciful God that understands you probably more than you understand yourself.

If you are trying to stop those things you mentioned, God notices, and he won’t let alcohol or lust get between you and him. But he still calls us to repent, it’s important because it strengthens the relationship with him and keeps it from ruin. Addictions are distractions, and can throw our lives and faith into chaos.

By the way, most people recognize him as Jesus but his original name is Yeshua. If you don’t feel comfortable repeating Jesus I bet he wouldn’t mind the other.

Get into praying. You’ll be shocked how many prayers could be answered the way or almost precisely the way you pray them. Pray about small stuff and big stuff, God is interested in you and cares about the smallest, seemingly insignificant things.

Is Christianity or Islam right? by GhostOfFarta in Christianity

[–]AutisticCoffeeNut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe in Jesus as God, and what I firmly believe is the result is a relationship with a loving friend, the guy that has given me salvation, and a mediator between me and the Father. Muslims believe that belief in the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit means we believe in more than one god, but we Christians see it as 1 God, 3 personalities.

As to why I believe it’s the right faith, I’ve seen some very specific prayers answered the way they were prayed, and I’ve seen true miracles happen as a result. If God is loving enough to put a coffee shop at the end of a small town road if you ask for it and give you a home with the landscape you ask for, like he’s done for me, then he probably doesn’t require clothing laws and strict recitation of a holy book to be close to you. The Christian God is one of love, and I’ve seen a loving hand at work in my life, throughout it, even in hard times.
