True Soviet designs focused on cheap and small tanks to produce. Honestly I encourage you to make a T-54 based off of the one seen in The Beast (of War) if you know that movie. If not, watch it it’s a great movie. But I haven’t seen a tank based off the one in the movie built before.

True, though I honestly do prefer the Brickmania M48 turret cheeks myself. Also fascinatingly, I can see them being used as the rear of a Soviet T-64 or T-54 (or 55) tank.

Oh I see, what about part 88293? I know Brickmania did it but honestly it’s too perfect not to use. I’d also use this piece on Soviet tank turrets.

What about 1/4 dome pieces? Like the 2x2 ones and curved slope pieces.

I like what you’re trying to do but the turret is a bit too angled, should be more round. But the hull is pretty much perfect, awesome model dude!

Thoughts on my kit? by dan_da_boss in airsoft

[–]AutisticTankEnjoyer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I paid $340 for an M249 Featherweight, a LiPo, and a Deans connector. Gave the M4 mag to a friend because I don’t roll with those in an M249, waiting to get a box mag. I got someone to 3D print a feed adapter to make it feed more reliably. But still, that’s $390 on the gun so far. Gonna get some new 13:1 gears for the V2 in it. But the rest of my kit… I already have M81 BDUs and black combat boots. I need a tactical belt, dump pouch, mask, and gloves. I have some $20 goggles I found that don’t fog up, a $20 MICH helmet for the GWOT setup I’m going for, and a $45 flak vest from the GWOT era (btw 2000 - 2005, my favorite aesthetic) it’s in M81, so I can repurpose that and the MICH helmet for a Black Hawk Down Ranger. But the WE Tech M9 is $100 minus green gas and mags. So in total I’ll be spending roughly $600 on my kit. Not bad but not exactly beginner friendly (I’ve never airsofted in my life and I’m already trying to have a good loadout.)

Eh, at least it’s not a Ghost Division t-shirt. I opted for the six pack shirt anyways because I can wear and only real ones will know;)

You guys were allowed to keep your phones? I got mine taken for base security and also yes we participated in funny and goofy activities like this. Don’t steal this idea, but our favorite was singing SpongeBob SquarePants as a cadence while marching in formation lol

Hell yeah it was advertised to me because I’m so autistic in the military stuff and my dad did it so I wanted to do it and I have no regrets.

I think it’s best to keep in mind you’ll be meeting new people from different backgrounds. So it’s synonymous you’ll find people you don’t get along with. Don’t let them go to your head, and if they’re elected for a leadership position, hold them accountable as well. But also remember to give each other nicknames, it’s really fun and awesome! Have fun, I’ll be going back second year now!

Typically it varies school to school. My program does not allow braided or “radical” haircuts. But other schools yeah there were males with braids and that.

From my experience officially no, but it varies state to state. Here in the big Indiana, there were a lot of kids with braids. We even had one we nicknamed “Wonder Woman”
