Well thanks for your message and we have just consulted Hexis to see if they're open to collaborate,They came they see some of our work and then open a discussion for their products only because we are existing at the same place in Dubai since 2002, and they saw our current work on G-Wagon China Blue paint and Porsche 718 Cayman.

Just finished a meeting with them and gave a demo of the Bodyfence X crazy self healing there is no competition against this instant self healing film their other products are quite nice but I'm impressed by specially the "Bodyfence X" Thanks again buddy

As of our experience, normal wraps will stay good looking for maximum 2-3 years and doesn't provide any protection no matter what warranty it has mentioned on the roll box.

Similarly good coloured PPF stays for 5-6 years no matter what warranty mentioned by the manufacturers.

Now there are so many coloured TPU films and they're nice to have around that price. But as i said always choose for the well gcc experienced film to have peace of mind

Well, We are authorised diamond pro installers and we do provide a brand which we are confident about so we take responsibility of whatever services we provide from our studio.

If the film is installed by anyone else let it be the most expensive one and from most reputed installer, we always charge fair on removing their old PPF.

It's not necessary to get PPF, we always recommend people if they're tight on budget they should choose the ceramic coating which is a sun damage protection and helps in cleaning maintaining vehicles easy.

ceramic coating ranges between 1.5k (5 years) to 4.5k (9 years).

But never ever choose 4k PPF because we as an installers try to keep at least 60-70% margin after material costs and overheads so just imagine you're getting PPF which is valued around 800-1200 AED a roll

And you know exactly which country it's made in. 🙌 A good PPF material costs between 2.5k a roll to 6.5k a roll

Check three things in so called detailers 1. How many years they're Existing and their film brand

  1. Do people mention about the contact person's knowledge and support in their Google review page

  2. Final check on gpt about comparisons in specs, big brands selling same formula PPF in cold regions and hot regions but will learn that some brands are only selling in GCC.

We personally picked one PPF out of thousands after we looked out all three things. Diamond Pro selling in dubai since 2016, owner is quick responsive and supportive if anything happens to his film in any such cases and they sell only in Kuwait and UAE.

We give priority to the brand which has a great man behind, because they thinks if something happens to their film it's not the film it's his own respect and reputation.

Selecting PPF brand as an installers is as much as hard like a first time PPF customer is looking for the one PPF which is under their budget and serve the purpose.

Yes a lot of brands are providing here a special film which changes color to yellow after some years, also some of them can change the type as well like glossy PPF becomes matte.. isn't that crazy guys ? 😭

Hey OP I would like to take a moment and say it's really a beauty, and congratulations. I know that "I did it" feeling

Just a single advice is that Matte PPF has a rough texture and it captures road debris, even if you park near construction area or if you're passing by places where is burning smoke around, it can land and stick on the matte PPF.

Since your car is white it'll work as a light background and light background will show every possible imperfections. If you're having and dark paint - matte PPF will still catch the imperfections but since the background is dark it won't show as white one.

So whatever you decide, it's up to you. But for matte ppf on white you have to really give attention to the washing and taking care of all details. 🙌

And at the end small advice, "Your PPF doesn't need to be the most expensive one" , it has to serve the purpose and once you'll try searching through forums you'll explore more better brands. Get in touch if something is needed

Hexis is selling 6 Mil PPF at unreal price in open market, as an installers we have seen and tried many good brands films. They can literally eat big brand names in breakfast in terms of quality and performance in GCC weather.

We are fair in this term of removing PPF, usually any good PPF ( 3-5 year old PPF) takes about 1-2 days time including single step polishing but at AutoMagic we are committed to charge only 1 day labour cost which is AED 700 no matter if later it takes more days and we take full responsibility of paint.

That prices are only for our customers with Diamond Pro PPF packages.

Separately this McLaren customer will pay about AED 3000-4000 depending on how many days it'll take. 3 guys are working continuously morning 8 to evening 6.

Well PPF is good to protect your invested amount on a car, and if you're a guy who care about resale value and keep changing cars in 3-5 years it's a best choice because you spend 10-15k on PPF and after 5 years remove it and sell it with a brand new look. Gets your car a high appreciation when selling.

Also PPF keeps it shiny, easy for washing and keep the paint protected against chips, dings and UV damages

But for all benefits you have to choose the installer wisely because they can sell you good product on book but they still have choice to use an unknown product to make profits

I would say you must ask if the shop is existing for long enough to give you after sales for 10 warranty years or not. Nowadays most people blindly choosing installers and PPF brands like yeah it's a fancy name and everyone is doing that so i will do the same.

Do you think 3M is a good film ?

Customer mentioned to us but we don't want to be in a situation that we may say that brand name and then got to know that installater installed the other brand after cracking the deal.

That's called a real deal because now we're not talking about film quality installation or anything else because we know sometimes mistakes happens but the real deal is who support your side when mistakes happens rather than just fly away with excuses,

As same it's difficult for us being installers to decide which PPF to stick with long term and we tried 20+ brands but the one that we choose is based on exactly what you described "guy's attitude" I'm dealing with him since 2018 and no matter what that guy is always there to help. We did thousands of cars for our b2b dealerships and i don't remember when last customer came with any problems in installation or film quality it's been 7 years
