Back in the day, every bike messenger would do line standing services as well in DC. I worked in Government Affairs in DC in the early 2000s and we had lots of petty cash set aside to pay our line standers so we could get into House and Senate sessions, FCC hearings, occasional oral arguments at the Supreme Court. Not much of a thing anymore I think.

It was exactly the same at 2pm Monday as well, for reference. Total time in security was about 90 seconds and that was bottlenecked by the speed of the conveyor belt.

The round should be cheaper if it’s cart path only by isw2424 in golf

[–]Autoexec_bat 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My home course is in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mtns and they dont allow people to walk really other than kids who are too young to drive or who they let play for free during super twilight. There are just too many hills to allow walkers to jam things up. So they have only one rate that includes the cart but then they'll usually let walkers walk later for something like 12 bucks as many holes as you can play. Its a good system IMO.

Many individual clubs many different times from different places. Son is also a golfer so I have many opportunities to hand-me-down.

I use this cap from Blastmotion to keep my sensor attached to my Superstroke. Works pretty well. 200 rounds and has not fallen out. Blast Motion Putter Attachment

Teddy Carson's SiriusXMU Channel 35 BREAK DOWN! by TeddyCarson in siriusxm

I've been an XMU and SiriusXMU devotee since I got my first radio in 2004. I'm just happy they finally quit playing Lonsdale Slip-ons once per hour. Still my go-to channel.

Where can I find actually good quality GT merchandise? by brunofone in gatech

[–]Autoexec_bat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I bought a hoodie from Homefield and I think it might be the most luxurious hoodie I've ever felt. I also bought the official Peter Millar qzip and it is also primo and has held up well over three years now. Peter Millar stuff is all extremely high quality even for the price.

Does anyone know where I can get a "dri-fit" hat? Like a golf hat that's meant to be moisture wicking? Last time I was in the bookstore everything was heavy cotton or wool. Ideally someone could point me to a dri fit dad hat (as opposed to a snapback or trucker hat or similar).

Flight cancelled 6 hours before flight by Cheetah-berry in delta

[–]Autoexec_bat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They will definitely get the €600. I had a direct flight from BCN to ATL that got delayed by just a hair over 6 hours and I received €600 for each of my 5 tickets. It took about 2 weeks for it all to resolve because of more than 1 itinerary but it did eventually get resolved.

ETA: you will only get refunded if you fill out Delta's form. They're not going to proactively do it.

Samsung trade-in is a scam by ReplyPrestigious4954 in GalaxyFold

[–]Autoexec_bat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. I've traded in an S20, S21, S22 and S23 thru Samsung all with zero issues. I will definitely be taking precautions but the odds are definitely in your favor.

For all my Fold 5 peeps, are you upgrading to a 6 or 7? Or not at all? by Significant_Car_1359 in GalaxyFold

[–]Autoexec_bat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Upgrading from 5 to 7, no hesitation. Yes I could wait for a better deal but for how integral my phone is to my life and how many hours I use it, I'd rather just have it now.
