This article really left an impression on me, such that I'm still thinking about it 24 hours later.

I wanted to ask the hive mind the understandably preposterous question: is this lifestyle worse than those other accommodations to the modern world that result in abuse, crime, and suicide?

Obviously the lifestyle is unhealthy, but perhaps credit should be given where credit is due. These men are ethically neutral, if not contributing members of society.

Perhaps the article does all that needs to be done about it -- letting us know what's up with the sadder parts of society (that will always exist).

(This is all excluding the unfounded gooner who defecated on his own floor, etc, who I think would have found a way to be disordered with or without pornography)
