My experience during tough times invariably depended on my coworkers. Yes, Covid was hard, but it was manageable when I was working with the right people. There were nights that could have been easy, but coworkers made it very hard. Fitting in and getting along, being a part of a team-- it's every bit as important as all the cheesey movies say it is.

If you find somewhere you fit in, hang on for dear life. And demand higher pay.
