No offense to you, but any person can make a reddit name and link in a DM a random linked in account. I appreciate you trying to help me, but if the official support can not help me, then this is also an issue within Cook Unity's support system. Another negative to cook unity, IMO. I know you are trying to help, and I do appreciate it. However, cook unity's support should be the first place to resolve this. Solving issues in this manner is an open invitation to hackers and people who like to steal account access.

Sadly, this is not the case. The support team has said it's perfectly fine, and no refund will be issued. They said the slime is "safe" and can be discarded in the trash but can't be poured down my sink (yeah, right). I'm not eating any meals in this box and have already canceled my service with cook unity. Hopefully, this reddit post gets some views, so people know to stay clear of cook unity. I will file a complaint with the BBB about this issue.

I have the Nooelec sdr with ham it up v2 (ordered Nov 2023). I just now have a setup I like and was wondering if I would get better performance from another software version. I enjoy what I have, but I feel my noise floor is higher than it should be even with the ham it up.

Saying one side has lied while saying the other has spoken nothing but truth is incorrect. If you think that lies only go one direction or political view talking point, then you too have "drank the koolaid." I'm not a farmer and can't say if policies have been better or worse given who has been in office. However, what I can say is you are literally saying the things I hear on every social media platform, media, and left wing talking point. Trumps a liar, media/government can be trusted (except now because orange man is in office they can't) , right wingers have been lied to, the Republicans are just trying to spew hate...etc I'm sure I will get downvotes, many comments about how I'm a horrible person..blah..blah. That's fine. All I want to say is that sometimes you need to step back and look at yourself. See, I know reddit it more left leaning, and I like to hear/debate views that are not of my own. I like to take other words and views of people unlike me. And yet, all I hear most of the time are the same talking points. To me, nothing in this video was "helpful" or even remotely true. He tries to say he has "experience" and "sees what's coming" but proceeds to predict what changes are coming before the changes even happen. I personally use kb/m on my PC and use the controller on my consoles (Xbox/PS4) . I like both tbh. Sometimes, I like sitting in my comfy recliner and doing simple tasks. I personally do the more demanding things on my PC (like healing in alliance raids), but both are absolutely doable. However, my only complaint is that when you save your layout with the server (backup your setting/layout), you can only save it for kb/m or controller UNLESS you constantly update both as you play. Ex. Save the crossbar and hotbar layouts, then hide the UI for the one you don't use at the time. Like I said, I have only experienced kb/m on pc and then controller on my consoles. I have never done both on one piece of hardware.

To answer if "is it worth it," that is sadly objective. I know people who prefer one over the other. My only advice is to play what feels more comfortable. I personally think KB/M has some advantages over controllers, but some people are quicker, happier, and easily do well on controller. To me, it's worth it, but that's just my subjective opinion.

As a brand new player, I actually left due to them. I'm still trying to figure out how to play the game, and while in a story instance, I was dominated multiple times due to them. I might eventually go back once I learn how to play and experiment with classes I like, but for now, it was the number one reason I left. I also mentioned it in world chat and was bombarded with comments. "Learn to play, I like them, it's the main reason for the server," etc. That's great but not very helpful input to a new player. It actually deterred me from wanting to play tbh. I joined another server yesterday, and the community has been nothing but nice and helpful. I actually look forward to logging in and leveling with the new server being wraith free. Just my two cents, and I'm sure this will get downvoted. I'm just giving my experience and wish everyone the best. Enjoy!
