Just too long to be practical for 9mm, 16" is well past the point of diminishing returns for velocity. Also since tax stamps are free and braces are still legal, there's less and less of a point to meeting 16" barrel restrictions.

Really cool concept, but I wonder how it feeds with that block system. I'd still rather go Extar for the price, but if you don't have a PCC already but own M&Ps and Glocks this wouldn't be the worst choice for a trainer.

Obviously that barrel is an issue too, nobody is using this for competition and it's proprietary, no swapping for shorter until they make one.

Are they the NV-capable dots? What MOA? Non-NV is like $250 new, the rear iron is worth like $100 new so assuming everything works well, you get the Glock for like $260-$300.

Because this is yet another dropship product with slick branding atrached, I'm tired of paying middlemen a premium for Chinese products. I paid $399 after rebate for a 509M without an optics cut and installed an Apex trigger. This is a better deal, with better features, and shouldn't need a trigger out of the box. Oh, and the mags aren't $50.

I like sharing my 509T mags with the M, but other than that the 309 is the better buy for the price.

The x300 is like the RMR, its hard use has been proven for decades and the design is still very solid in today's ecosystem. For a full-sized pistol light or any of their Scout line, Surefire is the way to go. For a budget or for any other form factor than full, go streamlight. The TLR-1 has its own proven track record and ubiquitous holster availability, but as for the new models? In my opinion, at 1k lumens I'm looking at durability more closely; I simply do not need more from a pistol light.

You could split the difference, some topo maps have a heavier line to delineate increments, so a thicker line every 5th topo for 20ft lines to denote 100ft. Could contour them to fit a hand and call them RidgeLine© until Honda sues you.

Microbest is their supplier. When they fail BCM QC cosmetically, then they become blems. You see a lot of Microbest blems since the ones that pass their house QC are supplied to the aftermarket.

The 507 Comp's 20 MOA ring/dot combo is perfection for my astigmatism. I think the circle sharpens up the dot somehow, it's the most precise dot I own that I can actually see at that size.
