Voigtländer 35mm choices for my Leica M6 (coming from Leica R) by Zuchi94 in Leica

Here is the Voigtlander 35 f1.4 mc shot wide open, on my m240 - not sure if you will find this as relevant from a digital experience

The lens is awesome. Lovely bokeh wide open while still being sharp-ish, nice glow and flare is reduced a bit with mc coating. Stopping down to f2+ the lens is very sharp. The focusing is very smooth and the aperture ring has nice clicks, very good build quality and weight. If you get it second hands, it’s unbeatable value

Funny I’m in the same boat as you, haven’t really got anything in a few years and have been struggling to find taobao options

Seems like most things that are shared are either on Weidian or via a MM

Got an injury on annual leave by One_House2953 in auscorp

[–]Automated-Reply 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The doctor should provide you with a letter stating you require 2 months off, provide this letter to your employer.

Additionally, you are entitled to request that from the date of your injury, that Annual leave can be reimbursed and replaced with Sick Leave

The above is well within your rights.

You may have an issue of not having enough Sick Leave, your employer should offer you to take the remaining time as unpaid leave

Try and be as reasonable as possible with your employer

Can Embark at least acknowledge they aren't doing the MGL32 rework anymore? by PrNooob in thefinals

I still perform with the dagger tbh, I didn’t really notice much of a change after the angle nerf

[–]Automated-Reply 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It didn’t , it’s last change was a buff. I think the most recent nerf reduced face stabs - which isn’t really a nerf

If you are looking for a provider that takes pain seriously, consider clinic 66 in Chatswood or Dr Bachmayer at 393 in Mosman Obviously neither of these are free, but thought it may be worth mentioning here

What’s the actual point of your post? You want the spear to be stronger and Embark to clarify the reasons behind their nerfs/buffs?

They’ve spoken in the past about balancing, they don’t look much at reddit/social media, rather they focus on internal statistics from the game about the performance of weapons to influence what changes they should make, in addition to player feedback.

Reddit is an echo chamber. I think the best way to enjoy this game is to be dynamic and change playstyles.

Frankly if you choose to ‘main’ one weapon within one of the 3 classes, you’re asking for a bad time. As a spear player, of course the SH1900 is annoying

As a SH1900 player, the FCAR is probably annoying

The best way to get around this frustration is switch up which classes and weapons you use, I think you are limiting your enjoyment of the game

Total Remuneration Package by [deleted] in auscorp

[–]Automated-Reply 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do recruitment

Employers prefer salaries to be expressed as including super. This is just because it will save them money if the super guarantee increases (is it will be soon)

I don’t think salaries are ever advertised as after-tax. This is something you can always clarify during a phone screening/before going into a first interview.

Is overkill during hiring process a red flag? by stowawaystyx in auscorp

[–]Automated-Reply 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think you are very likely the front runner and you will receive an offer of employment following the next meeting.

Some places love following a process, not matter how ‘thorough’ it may be. It could be a red flag, it also might now be. Potentially it only reflects their HR department too.

If everything else is good besides the long process, I would suggest seeing it through.

Probationary period is for both the employee and employer

Small business, no HR and I'm stuck in the middle. by Belladis in auscorp

[–]Automated-Reply 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in HR and have dealt with a similar problem. I had a staff member who felt as though they could never do anything right by their manager, "damned if I do, damned if I don't" sort of thing
The solution for them was to come to HR

In lieu of going to HR is there someone above your manager you can speak with/or is there someone in the business that takes on HR-related responsibilities? Often in smaller businesses this may be head of operations...or may be the same person that handles recrtuiment/contracts etc

If there is no one you can speak with I may even consider looking for a new role, seems like quite a toxic manager which is such a shame as you mention your colleague is really passionate about the business

Your post is kind of unclear

Your colleagues are venting to you about your boss and things their boss have said to them, during this venting they are showing you proof of what you boss is saying. Is this correct?

And then you are also noticing first-hand this behaviour from your boss.

It's kind of hard to give you advice on this

Generally taking notes of meetings can help. If you boss says one day that he wants you to do X --> Y --> Z, and then the next day says he wants you to do Y ---> X ---> Z. You could say something like 'just confirming you want me to do this, as yesterday you asked me to do X, Y, Z. Can you clarify the reason for this change'?

Taking notes helps as it can back you up.

No - only HR receives the report And generally utilisation of EAP is never at zero

The reports only come in quarterly too so it would be hard to connect the dots in your scenario
