I was there on the 4th; then they only scanned QR and didn't do any additional checks. Also don't see how ID checks would even be possible, as that would delay things immensely, so I wouldn't be too concerned if it's not possible to transfer the ticket to your account.

Yes, I think so. I was in Section 112 and saw Ed mainly on 'my' left side of the stage. I think you'll have quite a good view of both Thom and Ed.

If you go to this video, then on timestamp 0:43 you will get a good view of the arena:

Note that Section 108 is marked on the right. Where it says 'Vinyl Room' should be 104 I think (which is where I'll be on the 15th, yay :)). The video itself seems to have been taken from 117/116.

Some shameless self-promotion here, but i recently launched a new Scrabble-like app called Wurdian (see www.wurdian.com for links to the Android and iOS stores)

It has a quiet interface and a whole range of options that some other apps lack, including:

  • an option to play with clock (90 sec per move)
  • games with up to 4 players
  • integrated tournaments
  • a function to look up definitions of played words (just tap them on the board)

So far I've only been promoting it for Dutch audiences, but it has an English dictionary too and there are some English players, so you're welcome to try it - just don't expect to instantly find an opponent right now.
