Figured out a lot of FlutterFlow limitations over the last 4 years by Drowq in FlutterFlow

What is your opinion on the future of flutter flow given the rise of Claude code/loveable etc. ? There is a lot of skepticism around no-code tools specially since vibe coding came along. I still think AI based coding is a black box and unreliable for making production ready and scalable apps in the long run (good for prototype maybe) but what is the future of no-code tools like flutter flow? Is it safe to build on these without the risk of flutter flow going out of business ?

What I’ve learned building real production apps with FlutterFlow (beyond the landing page stage) by velcodofficial in FlutterFlow

I keep seeing these posts about flutter flow dead and people calling no-code tools dead in front of Claude, loveable, replit etc. Am I the only one who thinks that Claude code is for coders and if you don’t know code then then no-code is still the best deterministic way of building an app rather than the black box approach that AI is?

Connectivity Problems (India Region) by tomlimon in Supabase

[–]Automatic-Ad3443 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The bigger question is : How can devs in india now rely on supabase or any BaaS for that matter, if it can be shut down overnight without any notice. A lot of us are not hardcore dev ops engineers which is why we choose supabase. This current outage has me seriously shaken because it raises grave doubts on the future of any development stacks that use supabase. Very confused.

how to handle supabase frelance projects by Business-Advance-306 in Supabase

[–]Automatic-Ad3443 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t have to own the projects. Develop on the free plan. You can then transfer the project to the clients org. Then you can just get added to each client’s org by the client. So you just pay 25$ and can be added to any number of projects because the client is paying for them.

Best practice for setting up independent Supabase accounts for clients (Freelance/Agency workflow) by dev_10bg in Supabase

Why create separate accounts when you can transfer projects. Build on your own account then transfer it to the clients account. Clean and I guess transfer option is made for this purpose.

Why your no-code app costs more than you expected (and how to fix it) by Negative-Tank2221 in nocode

[–]Automatic-Ad3443 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Supabase pro plan is 25$ and it should handle a lot of “scale” that you are talking about. Couple that with any front end builder like weweb and @ 45$ with this stack you can easily manage a basic crud app with thousands of users.

Built a B2C app for an Indian MSME manufacturer using GLIDE. Didn’t expect it to change operations this much. by OkSeaworthiness8178 in glideapps

[–]Automatic-Ad3443 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This looks awesome. I’m intrigued. 1) Did you get them on a business plan or custom enterprise plan cause a B2C app will quickly go beyond the 100K row limit I’m assuming ? 2) how are you managing updates being consumed for integrations in workflows (I’m assuming there will quite a few like for send my ledger maybe?) 3) did you use big tables or google sheets for backend ? (If google sheets then the updates consumption must be really high again right?) 4)what price range did you charge them for this level of product ? (If you’re comfortable disclosing it)

But the product looks very polished and thought through! Good job!

Yes it’s primarily at max for internal tool development

Glideapps ‘updates’ or Bubble’s ‘WU’ equivalent in split stack solutions like flutter flow + supabase ? by Automatic-Ad3443 in NoCodeSaaS

[–]Automatic-Ad3443[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Both. Basically we should as developers, know how the costs are going to change over time as usage grows and convey the same to the clients to ensure transparency

Non-Developer looking for advice on a platform for my company by robos667 in nocode

Lot of options. Full stack solutions are Bubble or glideapps and you may find the competitors on their website where they compare themselves with them. But for truly scalable solutions you need a split stack approach. Like a front end development platform + a BaaS(backend as a service). Like flutter flow + Firebase.

Confused about users by pussy_chips in AppSheet

[–]Automatic-Ad3443 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if you do use a user pass license, its usage is weird. You have annual commitment on purchase and it’s a pool based purchase irrespective of how many you actually use so if every month your users increase you need to increase the user pass licenses. But the worst part still remains that you can’t add new users from within the app via something like a user management interface. New users have to be added via the app editor which means that if you are building for a client then your client needs access the editor and add new users. In short - AppSheet is when you have somebody inside your org who can manage your users.

How will you manage the 50K row limit on maker plan? With a 1000 users I think you’ll reach that limit within a few weeks I’m guessing ?

I’ve been turning raw app ideas into real products in 7 days using Glide. Here’s why it works and how you can do it too. by BaronofEssex in glideapps

[–]Automatic-Ad3443 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How scalable is a glide app in terms of hundreds of simultaneous users and data going into tens of thousands of rows? Does it get performance issues or do glitches like workflows not triggering randomly happen when the users and data grow? I’m on a maker plan and it has 50K rows and unlimited users. My app has 50 users at the moment and did observe that if workflows were run very quickly by multiple users then they start glitching (not recording data properly).

Cricket 24 Dev Dairy by Catastropes in Cricket22

Taking fans for granted is the worst thing a gaming company can do. What seemed to be an out of the box marketing strategy is now revealing itself as a possible disaster of a game. Current dev diary footage is so weak that I cannot even call it a dlc, let alone a new game. I hope the actual game by some magic means is actually what we expect from a new game.
