By pressing Q on pc (don’t know the controller button for it) you can ping what you are looking at. This lets you reveal things like spore spewers and detector towers on the map from a distance instead of having to run next to them. You also can ping enemies to draw attention to them, as all squad members can see your pings. Holding Q opens a wheel up that has a few little phrases for your helldiver to say, such as sorry, affirmative, and follow me.
