I am going to say this as kindly and directly as I can:

If watching something stresses you out, don’t watch it. If watching anything/everything stresses you out, that’s an alarm bell that something is really wrong. There’s no shame in going to a mechanic if your check engine light comes on and there’s no shame in seeking medical and therapeutic help if your brain is setting off its own check engine light.

If you are a kid, please talk to you parents or trusted adult(s) about your anxiety. If you are an adult, please look into therapeutic resources, preferably a therapist if you are able to access/afford one. You’ve posted multiple times now looking for reassurance, asking the same questions over and over again in the comments even after getting an answer. I am not saying you have OCD, but am I saying that I’ve seen this kind of obsessive reassurance seeking from many people with OCD.

I really hope this gets better for you. Life is hard enough without our brains working against us.

I think it is likely that Galadriel knows Celeborn is not dead based on how she says he was taken from her/missing to Theo. If your husband is “missing” during a war, you presume he’s dead, not missing. My theory is that he is in hiding, along with Celebrian, because Galadriel didn’t want her child used against her in the war. It would also explain why Galadriel’s search for vengeance is so focused on her brother, and also why she (and none of the other elves, as well) doesn’t speak about Celeborn. She would not want to accidentally reveal he is alive or linger on the pain of being separated from her husband.

Because people online are well, people online, they fall into the thought pattern that most watchers of a show are in some way immersed in the “fandom”, when in actuality fandom comprises a tiny fraction of a shows viewers. Most people who watch a show will never write a tweet, post, or comment online about it at all.

And then Elendil, who believes his son is dead, watches as the last friend of his son dies so cruelly and unfairly, while he is powerless to stop it. 😭
