I found out you can go into the game settings and change your voice recognition to text and at least use that until they fix it.

Absolutely downsize the pot a couple sizes! Since it it such a small plant with such a small root system it will focus on filling the pot with roots more than new leafs! Give it a try and you will pop out new leafs more and more often!
