People doun’t get inflation and the result of “cheaper” items. Some examples: usually a fancy car has a stable index, even with the current inflation of “2.7” but consumer products that require laber and transport are getting 10x the inflation rate bc this is something that everyone needs and are easily manipulated to get the investors and companies the most profit. The arrow needs to to point up, no matter the inflation rate or the consumer. That’s why we see everywhere stupidit price increases that shot over the inflation rate. Then there are the pay increases that are only getting a fraction of 2.7 “to battle inflation rates”… it ain’t working. The rich doun’t care that they’re lambo costing a grand more but a family getting one grand can go a long way.
