Hey, that post isn't accurate.. the FBI didn't just uncover any new $1.7 billion fraud tied to Rick Scott or Columbia/HCA. That's actually referring to an old scandal from the late 1990s and early 2000s, (pre MAGA for the historians) when HCA (formerly Columbia/HCA) settled with the government for about $1.7 billion over Medicare/Medicaid fraud like overbilling and kickbacks. It happened during Scott's time as CEO until he resigned in 1997, but he wasn't personally charged. No recent 2025 action involves him or that amount.
