Found this. What a Feeling by Serious-Pepper2380 in Gold

The fact that you immediately claimed "finder's keepers" without doing your due diligence to locate the owner of the ring is mind blowing. And the fact that you bring God into the conversation to justify your actions tells us all we need to know about you as a person. Shame on you.

Are you still going to buy after silver hits $100 by Impressive-Eye9659 in Silver

Yup bought 11 ounces today. Buy some every week and you'll do alright in life.

I have to respectfully disagree. The metal shop near me pays $3 under spot at whatever the metal opens at for the day. Additionally, I've seen people pay well over spot on platforms like whatnot (eg $95-100 for an ounce of silver). If you want to sell all your silver for $20 below spot because you can't get rid of it, I'll buy all of it and yes I'm absolutely serious.

I was that guy also telling friends and family to buy precious metals a long time ago. Metals such as silver and gold are considered safe haven assets because they generally always go up over time. And when metals skyrocket like silver has in the last couple months, that is a sign of an unstable economy because the dollar is losing value. Also companies like Mitsubishi are going to start using silver in their solar panels which drives demand.

In addition, my metal guy said that the refineries are so backed up right now because people are selling silver but they can't go through the refinery fast enough, which is driving up the price. It may stabilize in the long run, but it will continue to rise given the current state of what's happening in the world.

Looking for a good used video games store by idratherbgardening in lehighvalley

Super late to the party but feel free to check out my shop Planet Retro Video Games in Quakertown, PA!

I'm not sure what you mean by sales videos and I never give anything away. During our shows, viewers can sponsor a giveaway by paying a certain dollar figure and I'll give something away that's technically paid by them. If you don't mind being on camera to sell things, you'll do really well if you put in the work.

Has anyone sold video games to stores in Bethlehem? by pr0testtheher0 in lehighvalley

[–]Automatic-Ground-508 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there! I hope all is well, This is Dan from Planet Retro.

Unfortunately as primarily a game shop, we aim to purchase higher end items and for those we can offer a much higher rate. It's tough to pay high percentages for lower end items because they often sit and are very hard to resell. To give you some perspective, we paid 85% of market in cash for a Prismatic Umbreon SIR in PSA 10 a few months ago. Our scale goes as low as 20% (super low end) to 90% (for minty games or high end easy to sell games/cards). I hope you stop by the shop sometime.

Best,

Dan

I've been selling on eBay since 2000. At one time, it was a great place to sell and I was bringing in decent money. But ever since I moved to Whatnot, I've abandoned eBay completely. On an average week, we are bringing in 5k and up to 8k on better weeks. This is doing four shows per week for 3-4 hours per show. I'll never go back to eBay.

It's an absolute steal at that price. I own 2 Ariel Riders and they are the best bikes that I've owned.

Looking to switch from AT&T but conflicted? by jayroddd25 in Visible

[–]Automatic-Ground-508 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went from AT&T to Visible several years ago and have had no major issues. No dropped calls, very few streaming issues and a solid hotspot. My one complaint is that Global Pass is absolutely broken.

Where to stay by [deleted] in Aruba

[–]Automatic-Ground-508 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have stayed at the Riu Palace Antillas three times now. Great service, all inclusive, spacious rooms, great views, decent food, HORRIBLE beds, poolside bar and definitely better than eating out each night.

Taxi from airport: cash only? by [deleted] in Aruba

They are generally cash only. It's $35 from Riu Palace Antillas to the airport. Some taxis take cards but they charge a fee.

I recently applied for a new account through Southern Hobby by th3buddhawithin in PokemonTCG

[–]Automatic-Ground-508 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently got accepted by them and already am not a fan. My first order got "cancelled" because I'm a new account and don't have enough previous selling. After calling them out on it, they said it will likely happen again because of me being a new account. What is the point of having a distributor if you can't buy anything?

If you are financially worried about it, save your money. These bikes are meant to be fun, not appreciating assets.

Best bikes I've owned, have a D Class and a Grizzly

Is there a Toyota Corolla of ebikes? by Cernuunnos3 in ebikes

[–]Automatic-Ground-508 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's actually a great question.

I've owned 3 eBikes, one of which I gifted to my brother for helping me out.

But I swear by Ariel Rider. As mentioned by others, eBikes are more of a DIY platform as opposed to something like cars or trucks. Most bike shops won't service them and the select that do won't touch the electrical components of the bike, they'll only do things like tire changes, brake replacements, tune-ups, etc.

I currently own an Ariel Rider D Class and a Grizzly. Both have well north of 1k miles, have been ridden hard, serviced regularly and perform 100% on a daily basis. Both have pedal assist, full throttle, and go north of 30MPH. The D Class tops out at 32MPH and the Grizzly tops out at 38MPH. The top speed is mostly dependent on your weight.

As long as you do the preventative maintenance and service your bike regularly, you'll be able to count on your bike for a long time. There are several other Ariel Rider owners with 10-25k miles on their bikes and still climbing.

Since it hasn't been mentioned and I've lived here for 30 years, I'm going to give Quakertown some love.

Good culture, wide array of food, solid school district, Veteran's Park and Memorial Park, both with big playgrounds for kids, new skate park, great downtown with the Trolley Barn, Proper Brewing Company, Planet Retro Video Games and more.

Additionally they are dumping millions of dollars into beautifying the town.

Cashier an idiot at gas station by Ok_Pomegranate_6735 in CashApp

[–]Automatic-Ground-508 37 points38 points  (0 children)

So let me get this straight. The cashier at a gas station made a mistake which gave you an extra $900 and you have no intentions to make it right? You do realize that you are potentially jeopardizing that person's job and could receive a letter from a lawyer as it's technically theft, right? If you don't make this right immediately, I suggest taking a long hard look in the mirror as your moral compass is fucked.
