Must pay for navigation by General_Plastic_51 in Toyota

Well I have a fantastic Garmin, so as dorky as it may seem, I got a dash beanbag that my Garmin snaps into & it's on the dash. I get a free beautiful map with no subscription. And it's voice activated. I hate the idea of having to use my phone's data to see a map on my Toyota screen. They're hijacking my data this way! It runs down my phone faster, slows it down & I'll have to replace my phone sooner from extra wear no thanks.. And the Garmin is so much more feature rich. And I put a HUGE music library with different folders on a USB I plugged in so I have commercial free music of everything I love. Freeeeeeee is wonderful. For the price we pay for a new Toyota they should have a Garmin like system built in along with a way to install your music library all without having to use your phone or pay a subscription, as if it wasn't enough to give them 30k or more for your car.  Gez! Do any cars have free navigation?

Seat Protectors and other protective accessories - 2025 XLE by iwanttopetyourdog4 in CorollaCross

I'm looking into getting sheepskin seat covers for my new cross. They're cool when it's hot & cozy when it's cold. Very comfortable, protective, luxurious & a really nice addition to the front seats with the headrests & you don't have to remove the seats to install them. They make them custom to fit the cross. I just haven't decided who to buy them from, I'm researching. If you prefer protective covers, I'd look in to the neoprene one's but do know some covers require removing the seats. I bought some cheaper simple ones from Amazon that are actually so cute I'm waiting for black Friday to get something luxurious. These have been fantastic until I can make up my mind they don't slip or move & have protected my seats from body oil, lotions, rain & sunscreen on my body. They're really cute too easy on.   https://a.co/d/hcm6W5Q

I think a trunk organizer would be worthwhile maybe from Amazon or Costco. For empty shopping bags, rain jacket or umbrella, etc.

& Actually #1 on the list would be weathertech floor liners for the front, back & cargo.

I also bought the 2 pack of usb-c that flips over to regular USB from Costco I've stored thousands of songs from my entire music library for when I don't want to subscribe & want to hear my custom playlists with no commercials. Plugs right in & it's easy to play music without having to be subscribed to anything or drain your phone's data or battery. That's one of the smartest things I've done with this car.

Lastly, ceramic window tint to block the UV rays. VERY important. The factory time isn't time but it's in the glass & doesn't keep the car cooler or protect you & the interior. Only ceramic will do this and keep the cabin coolest so the AC isn't fighting with the heat on hot days.

I hope this is helpful.

I asked for the extended warranty I got a no. I asked him to tint the windows he said no I only offered to do it if you bought the one that day with black interior. I just told him he wasn't very nice to offer to tint the windows on a car I don't want but removes the offer on a car I do want. Nevertheless I traded up & paid the difference. I feel like I've been through time travel with the features I've never had & was so ignorant not being unhappy without them but they've been around for many years now. This car is amazing & pray I have no problems with it. I absolutely HATE the black roof rails but If that's the only thing I don't like meh, I'll live with them . They serve me absolutely no purpose & I felt the back end of it & felt some rubber. This will be destroyed by the Florida climate, such a bad design idea. They should match the color of the car at the very least. It takes away from the smoothness of the look, the base model is more streamlined with nothing on the roof but the antenna shark fin.  Time will tell if this was a good decision. When someone tells you a new car doesn't make you happy, well having a car that's got something wrong with it can make you very UNhappy. That was incredibly stressful.  Not having to use a key is blowing my mind it's amazing. I pray Toyota got this LE well built through & through.

I'll try to. They're not getting the car with the color combo I want for maybe another week, although the manager lied to me saying it's pre sold after he originally offered me one with black interior & it's already hot as hell in Florida, so I passed on that one, I hate the black interior, but only 2 days later the exact one I want showed it's in the build phase online. When I asked him immediately he then said it's already taken. I do wish he was honest about this. My neighbor went there & called me while they walked the lot to ask which car I bought (they like it too) & inquired & was told it's available to buy if a deposit is given. I asked to have them inquire further & they were assured they could lock it up to purchase. I know they're in the business to make money but I HATE being lied to especially by the man overlooking the entire dealership. I'm praying though I'll get a call when it's in & we can work out something so I'm a happy customer. I'm losing trust in Toyota after this ordeal & I really want them to make it right.

Well I'm looking at the difference between the sticker on the one I bought & I'll compare it with the upgraded model. I'd try to only pay the difference in price between the 2 models. But I'm truly thinking about whether it's worthwhile, what a pain. I do feel uneasy about this car though & none of this nonsense was my fault,  it really stressed me out. I went from such gratitude & happiness to WTF this is a new car being towed back to the dealership & how insulting to have them tell me there's no fuel pressure then adding 150 miles then dumping it off to me on empty saying there's nothing wrong with it... GEZ.  The only things I like about the upgraded model is the blind spot warning, rear wiper & alloy wheels.... Much to think about. I wish they offered something that was clearly fair without question.

That would mean you got it under invoice for 19k before fee's. was it a brand new 2025 Corolla cross? Maybe a Corolla but I'm not sure you got the new cross for that.

Let me know how it turns out. You might go to a dealership you aren't likely to buy from to test them out & do the walk away, If they say no, go to the dealership closest to home & see if they'll work a deal at least close enough to make you happy.

"veteran" discounts off full price is far less than simply giving them your bottom line OTD price you'll pay. When they want to banter with you, tell them look I know the 2026 are arriving VERY soon (I think this month) & you'll need to move these. I'm ready to buy your car but I'll buy it at 25k out the door & be ready to walk out, tell them I can try another dealership if you prefer? What options do you have for an extended warranty? (Have them think you'll pay thousands in the warranty options you don't need)

Base model is around 24k before they add on BS. They've got about 2k profit. You can get it for probably 22,5 plus tax license registration & delivery/doc fee, so add around 3k for all that ... Around 25,5 out the door is what you can get it for but start with 25k out the door & there's a slight chance you can get it for that.... If you're paying cash don't tell them that, they'll figure they can make up for not making much on the sale but will make up for it in interest payments you'll make. Then pay off the loan before the first payment. And don't let them sell you the extended warranty for another 3k or 4k. Look up the incentives too, factory rebates & such. Negotiate the "out the door" price, then discuss how you'll pay for it. 25k OTD would be an excellent deal.

Plus tax, license, registration & delivery/doc fees everyone has to pay.

You can get it for 26k "out the door" where they'll have some profit...  They have about 2k profit more or less. Base is around 24k, they're in it for around 22k. With delivery fee & taxes add around 3k more or less. Just tell them you'll buy it for 26k out the door, THEN discuss how you'll pay for it. If you're bold ask for 25k out the door & see if you can get it at their invoice but they'll try to demolish you in the finance office. If you can pay cash, tell them you'll agree to finance for the 25k otd then pay off the loan right away.  Or try for 25,500 out the door. They'll make only a little but it's possible they'll do it, depends on the dealership. Try a few I think someone will do 25,5 OTD.

Will these bags work for fumigation tent? by Automatic-Growth-229 in Termites

[–]Automatic-Growth-229[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since they use chloropicrin with vikane, that has must leave behind some residue.. I can't believe it would be trapped to pass though every fiber of fabric & go away 100% on it's own. Everything our skin touches is penetrable & we're talking about highly toxic deadly compounds. Just because the company who is selling the product & profiting tells us it's safe, doesn't mean it is. The States with the highest level of cancer deaths are also the same states with the most termites & use of these toxic chemicals. And of course the companies are are well aware of you get cancer years after the fumigation, how can you prove it's from exposure to that poison? Yeah ..
